I would be surprised. Manafort is very arrogant, and believes he has done no wrong. He knew the evidence against him, and from what we have seen publicly he has made no attempts to strike a deal.

No, the money he was paid was coming from a group of Ukranian politicians.. They set up an offshore organization because they didn't want anyone to know who they were backing.. This was all testified about in the case. The gov kept calling them "oligarchs" and the judge made them quit using that word, referring to Soros... Did they get their money from Russia? Who knows? And it has nothing to do with "Russian interference" and certainly nothing to do with the Trump campaign or President Trump.

They're just charging him with failure to register as a foreign agent (from Ukraine, not Russia).

It's apparently just a paperwork fuck-up that is very rarely ever prosecuted.
