The 1st juror has spoken out and stated that all jurors except one wanted guilty verdicts on all 18 counts in the Manafort trial.

The juror has said the evidence was overwhelming that he was guilty but for some unknown reason one juror wouldn't accept the evidence no matter how many times it was laid out in front of them..

One juror almost got removed and mistrial declared because another juror claimed she said she had already decided him guilty before the prosecution had finished.. The judge decided not to do anything about it because he didn't know which person to believe. Meaning 1 of the 2 were being deceptive but he didn't know which..

You have that wrong.. Manafort would have never gotten caught for his crimes if Trump hadn't fired Comey.

Comey wasn't investigating Trump he was following the leads in the Russian hacking.

Once Trump fired Comey the investigation then took 2 directions.

#1 was the Russian investigation which now intertwined with the Trump campaign because investigators had to look at why would Trump say publicly that he fired Comey to ease pressure off him. This made the investigation cue in on the Trump campaign.

#2 the 2nd half of the investigation 100% targets Trump for obstruction of justice. This part of the investigation would have never existed if Trump hadn't fired Comey..

It's not a witch hunt.. it was brought on by Trumps actions and Trumps own words..

Why is it you right wing nuts always blame everyone else and never own up for your own mistakes or actions? You guys are the OG of the dindo nuffins...

Where did you get that figure from? Because the back taxes was calculated at $1.5 mil..

Juror are supposed to be impartial .... Obviously was not.

As for one juror making her mind up half way in the trial, there is nothing surprising with all the evidence put forward ...

The good news is the judge can take into account Manorts guilt on the other counts with a standard less than readonable doubt and he can add to his time during sentencing based on that probability. I forget what the term is, but it's good news

Maybe? Most likely eventually he would have been caught.

I honestly don't care. The Republicans sent the precedent with the White Water investigation. A simple investigation into a investment the President had ended up exposing a blow job with an intern, and impeached President Clinton of lying under oath. If an investigation turns up crimes, then they can investigate those crimes and press charges.

This is very similar to Watergate. Most of us look at Watergate and think the end result was that Nixon was impeached and then resigned. Most of us don't know that over sixty people were indicted, and a lot of people went to prison.

Rosenstein never wanted Comey fired. He was told to write a memo about potential issues with Comey. He did, then it was used as a excuse to fire Comey. This royally pissed Rosenstein off.

Again Trump's problems all revolve around his own actions.

Yes he was found guilty on 8 charges, but 10 charges were declared a mistrial because of 1 juror. He still gets sentenced on the 8 guilty charges, just not on the full 18.

He can still be retried on the remaining 10 charges.
