I agree, and that's why I called JD in the middle of the motha fuckin night when most lawyers would tell u to eat shit and took all the time he needed and i wanted so we were clear on everything before proceeding.

I'm really not on the edge of a nervous breakdown but am recovering from a severe heat stroke a few days ago when the float sensor on the drip pan under the heat pump malfunctioned... last thing I remember was flipping it to cool when I looked at the therm .. next thing I remember was my wife finding me slumped over the chair unconscious.

Totally uncool but totally cool now cause I've already seen the doc and been checked from asshole to appetite. The appetite part i'm just kidding about, the other part I couldn't see but I can't begin to tell you how much i did NOT enjoy that.

hmm.. maybe I need your security system. Someone's been using my circular driveway at odd ours of the night. No reason for a car to come through here (it's not on the main road at all). I've seen it 3 times in the last two weeks. And they black out their lights too boot. Makes me wonder how many times it's happened when I wasn't in my office to see it. If someone was checking out the place to possibly break in, I don't think they'd drive around.

It's late here.. early there.. I got a kid asleep in room nearby. Don't want to wake him up with me talking on the phone. The sneaky car just has me bugged. Dunno if it's my ex or what. No problems in my neighborhood with break-ins and I have an alarm system.
I can count on one hand the number of cars that have used my drive as a turnaround in the last 6 years and that's in the daytime. Now at night.. and I'm sure it's the same car each time (newer dark sedan). My brother said I needed to put some sort of nightvision camera to record the driveway. I don't even have a license plate number to give the cops if I called them about it.

The last guy that just walked in scared the shit out of me cause I was on air and can't hear when I have headphones on.. so fuck if he hadn't hit so hard on the door he could've cut my throat and that'd be the last anyone would've ever heard of me.

I'm sure that might make somebody happy but i hope not.

Anyway.. even called them back a few minutes ago they promised me they'd have it taken care of right away, had head of security and some other guy i dunno and me on a three way discussing the whole problem and that I had agreed that I'd take care of my end if they'd just do theirs.

Well they didint'.. they didn't even bother to call my wife to try to collect a debt that wasn't owed because of.. oh my goodness i bet you'lll never guess.. a check she forgot to write.. and I'm sure you all know how quick an electric company will cut u off if you don't pay immediately or they .. um. .. cut your power isn't that right?

Well gee.. that means that all the shows I do.. all my customers.. my listeners.. and partners in Albumside.com and Webmasterlive.com etc... at my going rate of a standard 250.00 an hr... and at last call which was an hour ago to see if they had resolved it yet... and had not.. tried to inform the only available superviser at the time that it was my duty at this point to direct any communicatoins towards Mr. Obenberger as that I had already contacted him and hired him to take my case.

The great thing about it is you and me and everybody else knows there is no way Joe can lose this one, he doesn't even have to come to georgia! All he has to decide is how much they're willing to settle out of court for and I'm gonna leave that totally up to him.

If an alarm goes off all I have to do is pick up the phone, press the pound sign and it will tell me what exactly is going on from the temperature, a rapisit, robber or whatever I want it to in very understandable computer english (latest microsoft codecs, i'm on their beta team)

And the sweetest part of it all is that I can do all that with a tiny little Motorola umm.. I think it's a T200 a little red pager thing with a teeensy little keyboard. You type on it with your thumbs.

Takes a little practice but once u get good with it it's easy and fun.

I can control everything in thte house from temp to lights (even dim by percentage increments) and have it all done by all kinds of automatic ways from just telling it to to sending it a little email on my little pager.

And jeez.. that's just the security portion... i'm pooped.
