DOJ criminal referral submitted against Jared Kushner for lying to the FBI

Another day and another Trump supporter being investigated by the Department of Justice. When will trump supporters learn they are not above the law?

“Making false statements or omitting material info on SF-86 security form is punishable by up to 5 years in prison,” Lieu wrote.

"Lieu pointed out that Kushner’s forms had “over 100 omissions, including the infamous June 2016 meeting he attended in Trump Tower where Russian agents offered ‘dirt’ on then-candidate Hillary Clinton."

Formal Criminal Complaint On Jared Kushner Referred To DOJ by Rep. Lieu

Rep. Ted Lieu (D-California) submitted a formal complaint in a letter to the Justice Department, urging them to look into omissions in applications for security clearances made by President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner.

Lieu pointed out that Kushner’s forms had “over 100 omissions, including the infamous June 2016 meeting he attended in Trump Tower where Russian agents offered ‘dirt’ on then-candidate Hillary Clinton.”

In the letter, Lieu went into greater detail about the severity of punishment that could result from lying on such forms.

“Lying to the public, though disgraceful and unethical, is not ipso facto a criminal act,” Lieu wrote. “Lying on one’s SF-86 Questionnaire for National Security Positions, however, is a federal crime under 18 U.S. Code Section 1001 punishable by up to five years in prison.”

The entire time the Republican party was investigating Hillary Clinton my running joke was "we should have an investigation". It's still funny. They investigated Hillary Clinton every chance they got. It was a witch hunt. Now we have a real investigation with real crimes with people getting indicted and people going to prison and the Republicans are saying "this is a waste of time" and "this is a waste of tax payer money".

Crimes have been committed. People are going to jail. It's time for Republicans to wake up and do the right thing.

Which is more important? Party or country?

That's the irony of it.

199 indictments of 37 of Trump's closest allies. Most have flipped, including that Russian chick. Many felonies admitted to and Trump supporters say "nothing to see here". Denial & fear runs deep in the Trump toilet.

Trump surrounds himself with people who lie to the FBI like Kushner and go-to jail

It's obvious what the answer of that question is. The Republican Party is now an authoritarian party with-in it's self. They no longer care about rule of law, the Constitution, people's rights..

They are now the party of Trump, their messiah. The Republican party is now under authoritarian rule from Trump.. Anyone who steps out of line with-in the Trump party or descents is immediately attacked by Trump's little moronic goons. Trump himself did this in the last election by primarying anyone with-in the Republican party who descented from his rule.

This is what they want for the entire country.. They don't give a shit about our country, rule of law, constitution, democracy, they want absolute power..

Trump will attempt to stay in power when he is removed. He will not go quietly he will try to start shit.

For the record this is 100% a litmus test for Barr the guy now in charge of the DOJ. It's such an obvious case that requires investigation, if Barr declines to investigate someone who omitted over 40 meetings with foreign nationals from his security clearance then the answer will be obvious Barr is loyal to Trump not the United States.

There is absolutely no person in the history of this country with this many mistakes on their security clearance who got a security clearance. I mean this shit is absolutely insane of how much shit Kusher left off then had to go back and re-omit when they questioned him on it..

Lets not forget he purposely left off the Russia/Trump Tower meeting. That in and of it's self is a felony to lie on a federal security form..

This isn't a "get Kushner" move.. Kushner is already got, he's a dead man walking. His crimes are known and he will be charged for them..

This is 100% a litmus test on Barr to see if he serves America and his Constitutional duty or Trump. The reason it's such a obvious litmus test is in the referal they even spelled it out..

"Your loyalty is to the United States, not Mr. Kushner or even the President."

That is actually in the referral.. Yes they had to make a point of reminding him. Kushner is already got, this is just a test to see where Barr's loyalties lay and a pretty fucking good one at that, because they laid it out in public where everyone can see.

Then they are doing the wrong thing for the wrong reasons. They are there to protect the country - not their party.

When I was in the Marines we had a saying of "County, Corps, Family". This was our list of priorities. Country ALWAYS comes first. Country comes above everything else.

You cannot put a lapel pin on your jacket and claim you are a patriot. It doesn't work that way.

This has been obvious for years now.. at the very least since their actions against Obama, then Hillary, but probably longer.. Republicans have propped up their political party over Country for years now it's just now they are so blatant about it more people take notice.

I've been saying Republicans put party over country for years now. It's been extremely obvious to me since the 2000 Bush /Gore election.

It's disgusting. It's vile. It's evil. It should be illegal.

The Republican party used it's power in the government to constantly attack Hillary Clinton for no reason. There was no crime committed - at all. It just wasn't illegal for Hillary to use a private email server; It was common and was done by Republicans too. Hillary had nothing to do with anything that happened in Benghazi; It was a terrorist attack.

The Republicans held investigation after investigation after investigation, not one of which found any crimes committed. Not once crime. Why haven't we investigated the people who were demanding the investigations where there was no reason to believe there was any crime committed? If someone in Congress believes a crime has been committed, they have the right to have an investigation. But when they have a dozen investigations into the same thing.... That's an abuse of power.

Now we have the direct opposite. We have plenty of reasons to have an investigation, and the Republican party did nothing. They did nothing to protect us. They did nothing to protect our country. It's sickening.

I've said it before... History will judge all of the people involved. The truth will come out.

Yea, just today Mitch the bitch said that the Senate doesn't need an investigation into Trump signing g the payoff checks while he was sitting president.

These guys are all traitors and should be charged with obstruction of justice.

Imagine their outrage if Hillary had done it..

If that happened in the last administration McConnell would have 5 investigations into it announced immediately.
