What is GFY?

A magical place where players of a multi-million dollar industry are registered and have all the know-how and expertise to weave their network further and get more successful, making others successful in the process, yet it's usually about endless political ramblings from both sides and irrelevant news, all by the same ~20 people and for some reason it is not only tolerated, but apparently encouraged. In other words, the potential is huge but it is completely ruined due to lack of interest. It's a bit like installing LED lights but still using candles to light the room.

If you havent got your AWS certification, you should just go to https://acloud.guru sign up and take the aws certified developer associate course. You can do it in 1-2 weeks with your skills - I swear its a whole new world that opens up for you. There are tons of money there, just waiting to be picked up + its the most fun I have ever had.

We were 8000 people in Boston for the security event and we will be 45.000 in Vegas in December

I understand how the business works today. 95% of consumers no longer pay and the revenue is down by the same margin. A ton of people have left and into something else.

I offered a suggestion to evolve the board from politics and back to porn.

If you look at the Creditcard processors and mediacompanies, you will see most of the major players are UP, because Netflix and other streaming services have taught surfers that premium content cost money.

If porn paysites were still making the money they made in 2004. Models and content producers would have loads of work. As you stated the need for both of them are dwindling, you would still be in the business and active. The only sector that is booming is webcam.

Your proof is useless. Prove that porn sales are better than it was or even the same as in 2008. Online is booming as you say, but porn sales are shrinking.

When my filler content was too expensive for websites to afford unless they bought it non-exclusive. You don't understand how the business worked, selling a video and set exclusive for the money websites paid wasn't going to tempt me. Selling sets non-exclusive 100 times and videos 100 times. Then selling the sets to magazines for $3,000 and the video to the DVD business for more was way better than selling a scene for $1,500 to $2,000 exclusive.

I used to think that too, but sometimes it is worth the time. The trick is, is to pick the ones who actually offer what seems to be a valid argument.
