Just coming to the last episode of this on the UK. I guessed you Americans have already watched it? What did you make of it? I've really enjoyed it - Almost a mini 'Breaking Bad' but without the drugs ! Loves me some Bryan Cranston |

It was like half of breaking bad - the BAD part.
The final episode was awful. All the suspense is for nothing. Everything that seemed important turned out to be meaningless, and the final segment is eye rolling cliche that made me want to puke up some Shakespeare. Imagine the worst way you could end the series and then wait to be surprised that they got it much worse than that. |

One thing I did find to be silly, or perhaps I missed something, was that the trial was going to be held as a closed court. No one in or out who wasn't directly involved in the case, and the courtroom to be locked and guarded at night... Well OK, fair enough...
But why was the Son just allowed to wander in and out at will, watching parts of the trial? he wasn't directly involved in the case per say, and it was almost like just because his Dad was the judge, he could come and go as he pleased. I didn't get that... |
