I've been fighting the urge all afternoon to create an account and start posting (I hate reddit and reddtors).

The top reply is a guy from ten years ago telling everyone how horrible his experience as a gallery builder was. Commenters can't seem to get past the term "anal prolapse"

My only takeaway from the post is that the worst content is always user-submitted.

I know around that time, some shows allowed you to put your GFY username on your badge at shows. I don't think I know of anyone who "insisted" on that, though... if they did, it was probably after 15 rum and cokes and they were fucking around & this guy clearly didn't get it.

Seems more like he was just a low level employee who wasn't ever really "in" the industry.

I've never in my life received hate mail after 17 years other than from Christian and Islamic zealots spewing their religious bullshit. User feedback is usually "hey you usually post a gallery every day at 10am and you haven't for 2 days, what's up?" or something and that was pretty rare.

I think a lot of that shit is either embellished or completely made up. But I've heard similar stories from low level employees past & present. Even a lot of reps for well known companies don't know much - they were hired for their sales skills; not industry knowledge.

Yes that is one of downsides of this industry, first association is how you shooting porn while in reality majority of us dont have absolutely any relationship with production side of industry.

I have not gotten to the part about GFY, but WTF is wrong with some of these people? It seems like a lot of these creeps have super sexist ideas about how women do not like sex and then these creeps imagine that their rape fantasies are reality because they do not like the idea of women owning their own sexuality.
