Hi folks, we apologize for the inconvenience:

We would like to inform our customers that Paxum SEPA Mastercard users are currently experiencing difficulties in withdrawing their funds. This is happening due to technical issues our payment processor is currently experiencing. Their teams are working around the clock to fix the problems and to ensure this situation does not happen again.

Please note that these issues are limited to the Paxum SEPA Mastercard only and all other Paxum withdrawal methods are working as expected.

We apologize for the inconvenience this situation is causing. Please do not hesitate to contact the Paxum support team via live chat, available in your account, for additional assistance.

They still allow people to load their cards ( that still does not work ) . They can not provide an ETA. Terrible.

The money is lost, they can not even say what is the issue. I asked them for an ETA and they can not provide it. They should stop people to load their SEPA card but eventually they do not. @RuthB can you provide an eta?

I was about to load my SEPA card but fortunately saw this thread before.

I have also UnionPay card but never activated it. Does it work? What are the fees for ATM withdrawals?

UnionPay Card is awful. You will get huge commissions and if you try to withdraw in Eu then your exchange rate will be totally crazy. Also not always work .

What stupid information is this? Their fees are the same as most of the cards that are used online for ATM withdrawals. Conversion is also the same as other cards. What is this "huge commission" and "crazy exchange rate"? I believe someone is uninformed and chose bank issuer to do the conversion for him, which is where you get robbed, but that's because you're uninformed and dont know what you're doing.

The conversion rate here in the EU may vary although I don't know where you live, as the Chinese issuer applies a fee when you withdraw. Last but not least, the card does not always function (denied transactions are the norm with that card) I hope this helps.

Mallik had more dignity compared to these people. I can't believe they still talk of "SOME PROBLEM" while the card is blocked for everyone. And they still let people load that card and let them lose their money. Awful service.

That is not correct. The fee is always applied, it's 2 or 3 usd, something like that, it's in the list. That fee every card has. Epassporte had it, Payoneer had it, paxum has it. The conversion rate is very similar to what you would get at a bank anyway. Only way you get screwed is if you choose bank to do your conversion, but that's the same for any card in this world when you go to ATM, you never pick ATM conversion but with card issuer. Difference between card issuer conversion and ATM conversion for around 1000USD can very in 50 USD charge extra if you pick ATM.

Paxum SEPA card ATM withdrawal is $2 + 3% of amount withdrawn, not sure about UnionPay cards.

It's same for union, or very similar. Every card had similar fees, buck here or there difference. Sometime its 2.5%, sometime 3, sometime 3.5 etc etc, but not much difference between all cards i ever used (used around 6-7 different payment solutions to withdraw from atms in my lifespan). This card isn't much difference then the rest.
