I can't remember if I've read The Star or not. I have a huge book of his short stories. What's it about?

2010 is an insane book. So are 2001 and 2061. 3001 wasn't so good, but good enough.

If you're looking for a real good read, check out the Rama series. I read those back in Grade 9 and I'm dying to read them again once I finish Clancy's Jack Ryan series.

It's sort of hard to describe the premise of the story. It involves an exploration team that has descovered the remains of an alien civilization on another planet and ends with an extremely powerful religious revelation.

Edit: I meant 2001: A Space Odyssey, not 2010.

I liked 2001, but I liked 2010 better. The concept of life on Europa was really cool.

I just read The Star ( http://www.geocities.com/su_englit/clarke_star.html ). Really good story!

Holes rocks, its quite a page turner. I also read a really strange but good book that someone brought me after my surgery called Plainsong.
