Cat accident???? Boy, I do have cats on the brain.

I hope your son is doing fine. My nephew totaled his motorcycle over the weekend. He had a helmet and was wearing leather which helped protect him when he hit the pavement. He came out of it with a broken arm and some skinned wrists.

I want to know what ideas PK has for her next kitty adoption? Those of us who lose our pets tend to get new babies within 6 months.

Any ideas on what your going to do PK?

Does not matter how old they are, its a great loss when they leave us.

My son is doing okay. Got him a 97 Subaru Legacy yesterday. It'll do him for a while and won't make a terrible hit on his insurance. I know I can afford a new car for him and the insurance, but it's the principle of it.

I am really sorry for your loss. I just lost my kitty of 19 years. JJ was like our family cat..all my brothers and sisters would call and say "JJ is still alive, damn!" it was just so sad at the end..and ohh so sucky...by she has a nice place under a magnolia tree in my backyard. She always loved the birds! Enjoy your boo's long lived life...Persian Kityy!

I'm letting my pet household reduce by attrition right now. I got a shihtzu pup a few months ago. She's 7 months now. Gone from 8 to 6 cats this year. One of those 6 is 13 years old and has health problems. The pixie bobs, although not spring chickens anymore, are healthy as can be.

Because the 5 pixiebobs are all family and very tight, it would be very unfair to bring a new kitten into the picture with all of them around. It's likely I won't get another cat for quite some time. If/when that time comes, I would love a ragdoll or scottish fold...but.. all my pets have come to me by circumstances except for Smokey, my persian. He was the only one I actually went looking for.

I was looking at my mantle this morning where Princess' ashes are sitting and told her that her buddy would soon be there to keep her company as they did in life.
