I wouldn't have the patience for shit like that, if someone was causing problems I'd give them one warning, any more problems and they'd be staying at a different hotel for the night and would not be allowed back on the floor. Any intentional damaged property, they'd get the same treatment, without the warning.

i'm usually quite good at pacing my drinking, but at the start of the night I went up to the bartender and gave her a $100 TIP and told her to drop everything any time I wanted a drink and make mine. She did that - in front of some high end people and it was awesome but - -

I only had 7-8 drinks all night. if they would have been singles I woul dhave been fine. later i found out they were trippes or stronger....

Hey Shawn,

I have no idea why that is I haven't been around long enough to see it I guess. I admit my first few shows out I was shocked and super freaked out by some of the behaviour.

As Kimmy Kim said whether or not it is right or wrong stuff like that just happens.

I agree that it would be nice if we could have some classier events but I am not about to try and change what already is I am not a miracle worker. So I accept it and laugh at it cuz otherwise I would probably lose my mind at the shows.

There is only one realy way to stop this. Like Aarron said, just cease doing biz with these people. You know how it works from there. Someone will ask about them and you say "yeah their product or whatever is cool , but I do not choose to be associated with them becasue of their lack of professionalism." That is alot more damaging than any hotel repair bill etc.............
Make no mistake about it........I was in the Aerospace industry for a long time, I went to many conventions and seminars , there is always going to be someone fuckin up. PERIOD !! I have seen 50 year old men passed in hall ways and arguing with hookers. Some drunk some cold sober. Nature of a gathering.

Yes, I got pretty fucked up on Thursday night. The difference is that I still remember what went on, I did not damage anything, and I chose to stay sober once the show started.

The actions and negligence of one specific person at this show has prompted me to cut off all ties with this person from today forward. This is a person that I considered a friend until about 3 days ago. You know who you are so don't be surprised when I do not return your emails, phone calls, or instant messages.

Personally, I am down for starting an industry black list to keep these people away from the shows. Just do not allow them to register, it's that simple. The people who can not act responsibly can make a choice. Grow the fuck up or stay home. Your antics and bullshit are not wanted. Our industry has a bad enough reputation as is.

I would like to thank those of you who attend these events and know how to behave. The majority of the people have a clue but it's amazing how just a few people can fuck things up.

Since WHEN does pulling the plants out of the planters and flinging them down several floors in to the atrium seem like a good idea? Or having contests throwing glass bottles down 6-8 floors to listen to them crash on the the marble? What if someone had been walking down there and had gotten pegged by a bottle? Since WHEN is it acceptable to SLEEP in the elevator when you HAVE a ROOM?!

Grow up people, if the GFY Drunk Cam Girl can pull HER shit together for the weekend, why the FUCK can't everyone else?!

Last November's Cybernet was great, low key, good business, great job. Parties can be done with little harm, I arranged a great hospitality suite for Porn Profit and they had a lesbian show, drinks, great food, but it was relaxed. NO ONE got out of hand, no noise troubles, and NOTHING got destroyed.
