webmasters making over $200K per year, are you voting for bush?

Kerry wants to roll back the tax cuts for those individuals making over $200K per year. I absolutely can't stand George Bush and everything he stands for, but money talks and I might be willing to live with him in exchange for lower taxes. What do you all think?

Ill Be voting for Kerry.

The Bush Agenda and the directives that have gone unpromised to attack our industry disturb me..

I still wonder what the state of our industry would be in if Our Attorney General and the Administration had not been pre-occupied with the war on terror and 9-11 setbacks.

If Bush wins we just may see what could have been.

The new Computerized voting ballots are kinda scarry..
Some sceptics are saying these voting machines are a security risk..

hackers, multivoting exploits, you name it..

If the voting system had problems last time in Florida and seemed like a scam, the formula for another mess is brewing...

Anyone heard of the SERVE system they are tyring to implement??

The SERVE system is different from the electronic voting machines used during several recent elections, but the report's researchers said the problems are greater with the SERVE system due to the addition of the Internet.

Electronic voting has become a contentious issue in recent years as critics complained about a lack of paper trails and security flaws.

Electronic or Serve.. Both are concerning..

Very...

I bet you anything these issues will arise like mad AFTER the election.. Mark my words.

If you really made $200k you'd realize that he's not saving you $100k. You should be embarrassed that you'll letting a couple thousand dollars make you vote for someone you don't agree with. Need more money? Fucking work harder. If everyone just listened to Warren Buffet all the time the world would be a much better place.

I didn't say I only make $200k. Of course if you make 200K he's not saving you even close to 50K. Oracle saves a lot more than 100K that if he makes 4M/year.

You're right, I do better than that. $200K was the minimum cutoff. Work harder? I'd go head to head with anyone on this planet for who works harder.

BP I'm not sure what you mean. The top federal tax bracket dropped about 4% this year. Plus I moved to FL so I'm not paying any state anymore.

Did nobody notice that on your taxes you have a min tax now? 98% of Americans don't really get the tax cut, because they take the deductions back in other areas. The middle class was effected the most, but the rich and poor also missed the cut in some way.

I made over 200k, and still paid the same % of taxes as I did last year, they just came out in different areas.

Interesting. I haven't consulted with my accountant for this year, I was just posing the question. If I end up paying the same either way, I'd never vote Bush.

Adult 3D Glasses are just a tiny piece of our much larger virtual reality entertainment company. And yes, they do work very well, although I never really have a chance to use them myself

He did do some things to lower the taxes for the upper class, don't get me wrong. It just depends if you took that direction before and after he made the change.

Like getting an H2 is a write off, but what the fail to tell you is the cost of gas makes you end up paying the same thing or more. So no real cut when it costs $100 a week to drive the damn thing.

Lots of little areas to get the cuts, probably up to 4-5% but at the end of the day you are playing his game, and trust me, he gets the tax money back, just in a different way or area.

They also REMOVED some major tax break areas, for sure when it comes to your Investments. So watch out.

I would give away everything beyond basic food and shelter if it gauranteed the seperation of church from state, full equal rights for all, total freedom of expression, universal health care, quality public education, and unrestrained scientific progress.

I originally voted for Bush not because he would lower my taxes (he did), but because he ran as a moderate (he isn't).

He mostly surrounds himself with like minded people, and I think to be in the group of people really helped by Bush's tax policies, you have to make not 200K a year but maybe 5 mil or something.

I never minded paying taxes, and it doesn't enter into my decision on who to vote for, at least not as long as the U.S. has mostly the lowest taxes in the western world.

Come to think of it, we have the highest growth rate and the lowest unemployment rate too, so his policies have been pretty good, economically. I am voting against the fuck on social issues exclusively.

Even though I realize once Kerry gets in his protectionist and anti-business policies would plunge the world into a recession - except the next congress will still be republican so he won't pass any of that agenda. Instead, Kerry will become a moderate like Clinton and everybody wins.

With the security risks that are around today, none of these issues will mean shit. If there is a small nuclear device or biological weapon let off in an urban area in the US.

Last week Ed Koch (who is a lifetime liberal Democrat), said that he disagrees with every domestic policy that Bush has, but he will still be voting for Bush rather than Kerry. Koch said that Kerry and the Dems are too soft on terrorism, too reliant on the UN, and that they won't keep us safe. Can you imagine what would happen to the US economy if a nuke went off in NY, and killed a million people? We would take 20 years to recover, and all these tax cuts, or hikes, or social programs, or any of it, wouldn't mean shit!

As for the moves against the porn industry, if you spend some time watching c-span, and see what is going on in the house and senate, this is coming from both sides, it is a basic culture war, and voting for Kerry will not change a thing.

We aren't in a very good situation.

Bush doesnt like the porn industry, but does like to help out people making money.

Kerry probably likes the porn industry, but doesnt like to help out people making money.

Nader stands for the only color I care about. GREEN.

what a fucking asshole.

we risk the lives of our family so you can get tax breaks.
Do you think voting for Kerry means we leave Iraq sooner? Or less lives lost? I don't see what that has to do with the question. What's done is done, I'm asking about the future. It's ridiculous to infer that one doesn't support our troops because they do or do not support bush.

I didnt say anything like that.

you either with us, or against us.

dont give me your "all american pride" shit when you are letting lower taxes base your decision on who you vote for.

that in itself sounds like TREASON to me.

That doesn't make any sense. I'm anti-american because I simply weigh lower taxes against other factors when basing a decision? With who or against who? Troops? So every vote for bush is anti-soldier in Iraq? You definitely lost me somewhere.

BTW I never said who I was voting for, nor have I made up my mind in any way. I don't know enough yet about all of the issues. I was just looking for some opinions.

You rather vote for the man who started the whole damn thing and lower taxes than weigh any real debates.

Shallow souls produce shallow results.

Vote Bush, its all your kind is good for.

Sit back, get your Hummers for cheaper, write em off, save your dollars.

meanwhile families like mine, ship boys not old enough to drink, to fight some bullshit war, your tax saving republican savior started.

Enjoy your extra money.

Maybe one day youll go to a funeral for someone who lost their life in these bullshit wars and see past your fucking Hummer.

Maybe you shouldn't get your security information from fucking Ed Koch. What the fuck has Bush done to protect New York from another attack? All he's done at home is cut money from firefighters and first responders repeatedly putting you in way more danger. Not to mention, I just read an expert at the U.S. Army War College, Jeffrey Record, recently released a 62-page analysis that concluded the war in Iraq might have set back American efforts to stop terrorists by diverting precious resources to a battle that will do little to prevent new attacks.

"As a result, Record concluded, the war on terrorism "lacks strategic clarity, embraces unrealistic objectives and may not be sustainable over the long haul."

This is what you're voting for, scaring the fuck out of the people with doomsday scenarios all the while fighting unnecessary wars for oil and power with money that should be going to protect you. Congratulations, you're officially a sheep.

Look at the long term, not the short term. Getting rid of Bush will be best for your business and for America.

Bush's policies and massive deficit spending are going to mean huge tax increases for future generations of Americans.

America will be better off with Bush and A-s-h-c-r-o-f-t gone. When Americans are better off, you will make more money.

If you do decide to vote for Bush, and you are in the adutl industry, he might put you in jail, and you won't be making any money there.

Who cares what the 200K/year people think? There are so few compared to the middle class that they make almost no impact in the polls.
