yeah, 1:180 doesn't mean shit when it's only 1 track to 180 clicks. he could run for another 10 months and never get another track - just the laws of statistics, which most people don't understand very well - even in real life situations where you're not staring at a stats page.

Sorry boys I forgot about my post until now the odds that any two students in a 25 person class (assuming no chance of twins) is over 50%. i think any sized class less than 25 students drop the chance to under 50%. The odds of a 30-person class is over 70%, i believe, i cant remember exactly, but i think it's between 70% and 80%.

Imagine that - go into a high school, and bet $50 per class that two people in that individual class have the same birthdate. Since the chances are over 50%, you should come out on top. Who would have guessed?

If you guys want to know the exact chances, let me know, I'll figure it out for you.
