They changed it so now English is required from 4th grade and German is optional from 7th.
Most people also take German I think in my class only 2 or 3 didnŽt take it. then from 11 grades some people take on another language (Spanish or French).
We are a small country only 5 mil speak Danish so we need to learn foreign languages.

Most people also take German I think in my class only 2 or 3 didnŽt take it. then from 11 grades some people take on another language (Spanish or French).
We are a small country only 5 mil speak Danish so we need to learn foreign languages.

I think that America is rather arrogant in the fact that we know most people will take the time to learn how to speak English, so we don't bother with a foreign language requirement.

However, we are required to have at least 12 years of English. More if you go to college. WTF??
