It's been 1 month and 1 day since I've quit smoking and I haven't cheated a single time.

However, that's not to say it's been easy. I dream about smoking several times a week. I wake up feeling guilty that I smoked in my dream, freaked out that I broke. I smell it from a mile away. I still crave one after I'm done eating. The first two weeks after I quit I couldn't concentrate and my productivity went down. Which made me pissed. I've gained weight. I was miserable to be around for the first week or two. It was horseshit.

I wish these guys had an affiliate program:

Without them I would've failed.

If you want to quit give them a shot!

now when i am walking through a parking lot to go in a store i keep my eye out for smokers so i can try avoid the fallout from the stink. plus i have enough wind now to kick the shit out of anyone

I quit 3 months ago after 10 years of smoking and smoking 2-3 packs of unfiltered a day. Quitting is surprisingly easy - all you have to do is to not light one up.
Nicotine patches and gum seem like a bad idea though... you keep the nicotine addiction with stuff like that.

Ya I have tried 6 other times without any "helpers" and it was just "too much" for me. I smoked 10 years, 2packs a day, constantly. Coz I work from home full time I would just sit here and chain them all day long. I had to use these little buggers. The docs I used to work with at one of my mainstream gigs said that quitting with a helper is better than not quitting at all -- I agree -- and I've weaned down to very little nicotine supplements a day. Soon enough I'll be nicotine free. My body doesn't deal well with physical addiction!

"mg" wise, 2 packs of camel lights a day is about 40 mg+ of nicotine a day, vs. the 2-6 mg I am taking in with these lozenges now. Not bad. Soon to be zero.

You will know you have finally kicked the habit when other peoples ciggarettes smell bad. The first few months when someone else smokes it's the best smell in the world. One day you will notice the smell turns you off. That is the day you are free from nicotine.

Yeh I have been tempted to buy cigars, but I haven't. My GF is really supportive, and it helps a lot.... there has been a reward-for-performance plan that has been very um, encouraging.
