I LIKE FAT CHICKS

So I see that soon, this will be my new tag since I'm coming up on 500 posts. I don't mind, because all women are beautiful. I just hope that someday I get my own titmowse-specific tag. In fact here's my dream tags for three of the best damned bitches on this board:

TAM
virtual bitch

TITMOWSE
real bitch

RED
used to be our bitch

Obesity is a disease and should not be considered a good thing. It leads to numerous health problems. Americans are more overweight than any other country. Supporting obesity is like supporting AIDS.

Big is not beautiful, it's unhealthy.

and what do you consider obese?

when i was 12 years old, i weighed 125 pounds. our family doctor told my mother in front of me that i was fat and needed to be put on a diet. she basically ignored him, but i was floored by what he said. years later, i became bulimic and got down to 100 pounds. i still had assholes tell me i was fat. now i'm 40 and i'm 125 again. according to some bullshit medical standards at 5'2", i'm still considered overweight. along with all the impossible body types glamorized in the media and our culture, the last damned thing i'm gonna do is make women with weight problems feel even MORE guilty.

Titmowse, I think that as long as a person can get out of bed in the morning and walk around without problems, and doesn't have giant rolls of flab, they are not too fat. I think that round, full-figured women are beautiful. I'm not sure if I'm considered "overweight" myself, (I'm 5'9" and 140 pounds) but I think I look okay...

hey smutcash,

if you think you look fine, then that's all you need.

i think i look fine too. i gave up a way long time ago trying to be some friggin body type i was not meant to be. 15 years ago when i decided to accept that i was a chunky girl and was meant to be a chunky girl, i stopped gaining and losing weight. i have weighed the same and measured the same for all that time.

i'm sorry i had to get mad at winter. it's just that that person came in and immediately slammed a post that i had designed as a way to humorously suggest that the fat chick thing not so humorous to real, actual chicks.

i know where i am. i am in a man's world. but i also know something else:
without us women...these men would be nowhere.

i tolerate a lot of shit like bukkake and slams on model's characters and a general mysoginistic attitude in this business. if i were 20 years younger, i would be bitching up a storm. but now that i'm older i know better. i know that that kind of attitude works when one is young and unwrinkled and cute. it don't work so well when i am now considered an old hag. so, i try to make my points with humor.

one of the main reasons i come here and stay here is because of what i think the whole basis of the amateur pages concept is. i believe that lensman has a healthy and honest respect for the average woman. to me, AP is the anti-teen anti-barbie oasis in the middle of a derogatory world of porn.

i like dirty pictures. i don't like mean spirited dirty pictures.

blah blah blah...

Winter -

I started to reply to this post last night/this morning but I had just a little too much to drink and messed up the reply.

Now, I don't know where you got your knowledge about the rest of the world. I guess you didn't know that European countries considers a woman with curves hot and considers the USA to be to focused on size.

"computers, counter-strike, britney"
So what grade are you in exactly? How dare you compare aids to being overweight?

You need to concentrate more on your studies and less on showing your ignorance in public.

Ignore it Tit. lol The boy would have a fit looking me in the eye. At my height and weight I scare guys. I'm *over* the doctors chart by 20+ pounds and always have been. But I ain't fat to be sure.

I have the curves where they are meant to be. I wonder what guys see in those rail thin, skinny haunched women that wear AA bras. Maybe little boys in their eyes?

Apparently, being gay is now considered as being cool. Therefore I propose,

"Horny fucking flamer"

Hehe, that should offend a few people.

Ok aren't we doing this in reverse now? Some women are naturally very "rail"ish and can't really do much about that either unless they overeat to no end, and some women are healthier this way. Shouldn't we consider the feelings of women such as that when making comments about women's bodies in general. Winter does have a point, an OBESE woman is unhealthy, obese according to most doctors is a BMI over 30, this is ALOT More then where you are Tam. A woman who is "full-figured" (to use a term I have no idea if its appropriate or not) is beautiful, a woman who is obese can be beautiful but she's still not healthy. But a woman is not unhealthy by being "rail" thin unless her bmi goes under 18 (and imho this is too high for athletic women). So we should keep in mind that ALL women are beautiful even the rail thin ones.

In my career as a nude/erotic photographer, I've shot more than 200 young women, I'm sure. 125 lbs is, believe me, within a normal range for a 5'2" female. "Average" for a female of that size, medium build with normal bodyfat would be 110, but 15 pounds additional on a female with a heavier build (which could mean big bones as well as lots of muscle, not just fat) wouldn't be outrageous and could still look pretty good, too. A slender as a reed fine-boned 5'2" woman might weigh 90 lbs.

I think these medical charts and standardsare total bullshit unless some allowance is made for individual body type. Sometimes I think the medical profession is in league with the gay editors of Vogue magazine.

Just make sure to think for yourself and take good care of yourself. What more can you do?

yeah jeanette

my kid is naturally lanky. i try very hard not to make a big deal out of her looks. i don't call her "skinny" and try to make her eat more. she eats what she needs and does just fine.

unseen...i couldn't agree with you more.

Titmowse, there is a difference between obese and overweight. I'm pretty sure that overweight is just a few pounds extra that doesn't matter. Obese is having a weight that is about 30% greater than a normal healthy weight for your height. 125 for 5'2" is not obese, probably not even overweight.

TwilitesZone,
I'm going to be a junior at UW Madison and I'm 20 years old.

"How dare you compare aids to being overweight?"

They are both medical diseases. Both are unhealthy. Both should be considered unattractive. You might say this last point is wrong, but from an evoltionary standpoint, it certainly is unattractive in ALL cultures. This has been proven even with pygmies in SA with no contact to the western world. The most healthy size for a women's waist to chest ratio is 66-67% (or 24-36 for instance). This is the average across all cultures. You call me ignorant, but maybe you should look in the mirror pal and not judge others so quickly.

winter,

i am fully aware that obesity is an unhealthy condition. i am aware that america has a rather high ratio of obese citizens.

what i don't understand is why you took the time from your busy day to post this comment?

apparently this weight thing is an issue for you. i hope you can find peace and a sense of humor in your future studies.

Yes, weight is an issue for me. I find obese people repugnant. Personally I think they should be sterilized so as not to produce any more offspring which are genetically prone to obesity. However, that is a bit radical.

My day wasn't really busy, I finished 11 hours of work at my summer job, came home, used the internet for an hour and went to bed.

Well, it's a fact that the appreciation of the obese female as a physical entity is not normal, it's a fetish. Men are generally "hard-wired" to like certain things. While ideal weight has varied over time, there is much more consistency in proportions. Men like women whose waists are smaller than their hips, for example.

Our standards of appeal (I'm consciously avoiding "beauty" here) seem to be fairly hard-wired. The so-called "ideal" in a woman's face involves roundness of the face and large wide-set eyes. Researchers have found that even babies prefer this sort of face, so it's fairly certain this is hard-wired, not cultural.

I have a fat penis...

the doctor said that it was too fat when I was a kid so I've been rolling it ever since to see if I can get it thinner -- but it just keeps getting bigger every time I do that. I don't know what to do but I'm 25 now... and starting to worry.

Uhhh.. Someone needs to define "obese" or "fat".

Fat/Obese to me is the same, and is definitely a *BAD* thing. This is where the person DEFINITELY wieghs far more than they should, and is quite disgusting to think of naked. On a chick, think boobs down to stomache fat, or the start of a ball.

I don't consider "big boned" girls to be fat by any means, it's perfectly normal. No need to be perfectly skinny, yeesh. I found one slightly larger girl (definitely not obese), very damned hot. She gave the best #@$#@4ing massages in the world, because she had enough strength in her hands to do it right.

Now my fiance is a little girl, but nothing too skinny. 5'3" and 110lbs. Mmmm. But, if she put on 25 pounds I wouldn't really care all that much. If she put on 100lbs, I would definitely mind as that is just downright unhealthy.

That said, I'm 6'0" and wiegh about 225. So I'm getting a bit on the larger side myself, but nothing where it hinders my day to day activities (and yes, they do include more than sitting on my ass all day)

So.. just be sure you're all talking about the same thing. When I say "fat girls are ugly" I'm not talking about someone who's 5'2" and weighs 130lbs, I'm talking a 200lb+ monstrosity.
