Been having weird sleep patterns lately. Need to start falling asleep earlier. What do you do to either force yourself to sleep earlier or get tired?

Are you in the US? Buy some melatonin from your local vitamins/supplements store. Take one every night a half hour before you want to go to bed. That'll fix your clock in no time.

Do something physical before dinner, like swimming or cycling. Then have a big snack before bed and wash it down with caffeine free tea.

"Sleep" has been making me tired lately. Once I get some real rest, it's difficult to get back into the rhythm of work for extended periods of time. When I sleep for a good 8+ hours, I can't go more than another 6 to 10 hours without at least a nap of 3+ hours.

I almost have to force myself to stay awake past the "tired" point to get back on track.

as odd as that may sound, I can't fall asleep without some type of noise...be it television, music, etc.

So, if I want to fall asleep, I get comfrotable in bed and watch tv and just dose off...of course with the new baby, it has just become a series of catnaps...

i think I'm immune to PM's now. The only downside to those were trying to wake me up. It was almost like taking Nyquil.
