BellSouth DSL Business Plus

BellSouth has a new business service called DSL Plus that bumps your speed up to 3mbs. Double their regular DSL speed which runs 1mbs to 1.5mbs typically.

And its only $10 extra a month.

question is... i mean 10 bucks a more, can't beat that. But do you really need the extra speed?

Its good when you start adding more people in an office.

A lot of workers sit there streaming music into winamp and stuff like that so it helps relieve the traffic congestion when too many of your staff are doing that.

Bellsouth has offered this service for home or business for over six months- it's called BellSouth FastAccess DSL Xtreme ? 3 Mb down/384 Kbs up. I'm uploading huge video files for clients right now thru ftp , and yes, it's worth the small increase in price if you use it a lot.

i've heard the same from alot of people, personally i've never had any trouble with my bellsouth service and I've been a customer for atleast 4 years now.

My dad has the same comcast setup as you and he is constantly complaining how bad it sucks.

I agree Bellsouth sucks ass. Every time it rained my phone and DSL died. Sent techs out twice yet never could find the problem. Lets see.. What else? Ummm deceptive billing practices... Shitty customer service.... Techs in india who were clueless about their service and ran me thru the same scripts every time I called even though their computers told them that I had done the same shit the day before and the day before that. Fuck Bellsouth! lol Earthlink DSL has a few problems, but its still a hell of alot more reliable that Bellsouth ever was. Oh guess I should mention that im getting consistent 1.4 down and 250 up speeds. Compare that to 500 - 800 down over the life of my Bellsouth account. Go figure. Thyere using the same fucking lines. Only good thing about Bellsouth was a consistant 256 up load speed.

yeah, i think the connection issues for each provider is on a user by user basis

but damn $89 for slower shit than cable is just crazy...i guess you just have to try each one and see which works for you

yeah i think your right about the connections and the reliablity it all comes down to where you live and your situation.

I also think the $89 is for the business dsl lines. i have home service and only pay $49 for the 3mbps.. I wonder what the difference is

Sweden, both up and down is 100Mbps.

http://www.bredband.com/en/

It's great

The basic service is 10Mbps without the 300GB limit. 100Mbps is an addon on that for another ~$30.

DSL here these days is ADSL2. 24Mbit down, 1 Mbps up.
