can you block users from uploading on a hub?
i'm sharing my cable modem with two of my brothers and one of my cousins. my brothers never upload but my cousin does it a lot. whenever he uploads it slows everyone down. been on his system before and he's connected to some p2p network program and leaves it on 24/7 so he can get credits to download. takes about a minute to load gfy if i'm lucky. is there anyway to block him from uploading if he's connected to the main hub?

Depends on the hub I guess, but from my understanding, hubs are more for simplistic bandwidth splitting.
Routers are are for the more advanced options. |

get a router and block the ports the p2p network is using.
