Lens - Nice Ride.

I have been restoring my 1958 Corvette for almost 3 years now. Never done.

If you ever need to know where and who to talk to about modifications, parts, anything.. e-mail me. In the last few years, I have met practically everyone who does anything for Series 1 vettes!

A few pics.

Maybe I?ll see you at HAN 2002?

Here are a few more..

http://64.38.245.133/lensman/

ciao.

Ray

Hey HUN!

That's a great car.

I think the aniversary edition of that Lambo is by far the nicest of all in the last 20 years.. including the diablo.

When it came out, I had a poster of a red 25th on my wall for years. Can I asked what you paid for it?

Due, a car is completely checked in the Netherlands before you pick it up. We call that service. Checking a car thoroughly is, at least in the Netherlands, usually done in a workshop. That's why you'll see that every dealership in the Netherlands has their own workshop. I'm surprised you never heard of it!

Anyone who knows a few things about exotic or classic cars is that they are in the shop more than they are on the road.

If he just purchased the car, he is probably having a few things updated, fixed, changed. I would.

That 25th Anniversary Lambo will be equivelent to a 1985 Ferrari 288 GTO in 10 years.

It's a fucking great investment and a Bad Ass color too. What did they call that.. Swaters Blue?

Actually.. lately.. I have been clay-balling... does a fine damn job and doesn't wear the paint as bad as CS.

Don't know what the color is called. I liked it a lot though ;-)... I saw the lamborghini when I took the Ferrari in for some error in the shock absorber system. Loved it the minute I saw it. I probably won't drive it as often as the Ferrari. It's a 13 year old car, and you have to treat 'em very differently from a modern car like the Modena. I figured I couldn't loose on a car like that. Like you said, the value will increase if you keep it in good shape

The 1989 25th Aniv. Countach is a temperamental car.. V12s are like that...

It likes to be driving fast.. but you'll pay for it at the shop...

I'm not one for locking a car away in a bank vault, but some cars should be because you know they will be worth a fortune in 10, 20, or 30 years. That lambo is one of them.

The 360 is a nice ride.. especially the spyder. Al Fresca is the way to go! I am waiting for the to see what happens with the Ferrari 550 Maranello Barchetta (price). I was close to trading my 355 for a 550 coupe, but saw the Maranello Barchetta at the Paris car show in October of 2000 and thought I should wait.. it's hovering around $450K USD and the final production numbers have not been announced so it's hard to say how it will do in 20 years.

hey lens - how can you have a REAL car like that clasic vette and then go out and spend a few precious pennies on that crappy foreign ugly SUV made for yuppies and wanabies?

come on man, even Tony Soprano drives a GM.
it's all about the interior room.

Hi Hun

Thats a great color for the Lambo, never seen one that color before. Very close to my 355. Didn't want red - ALL Ferrari's are red. Good to be diferent !

As you can tell I like blue cars...

Looking to get a original Turbo or Tii someday soon.

Nothing like a classic 02 series.

It's an oldy too. 25th Anniversary from 1989. Only 8500 miles on the clock. #655 of 657 ever made.
If you get tired of driving those cars, I'd be glad to swap you my 92 Buick Century. Its got a turd brown exterior, has a few upholstery problems, needs some breaks and a muffler, but its got a nifty dashboard compass from when gramps used to drive it.

Oh yeah and only 175,000 miles on it
