You could never get me to buy a Celeron... It is akin to buying a 386 when a 486 is available... back in the day... You might as well just buy a 1.8gz PIII and pay less but get more done.

shit like that - so a celeron if fine
I have a celeron and I Have had it for YEARS not one problem

People who seem to have problems with pc's are the ones who overwork it and are hard on it.

I rarely EVER have a problem with my computer EVER and I am the most non tech person in the world

Maybe you should just keep your girlfriend occupied in the other room. That way your friends aren't an issue....and you'll save some money.

P.S. Dell rocks! I'll never buy a different brand computer...with alienware being the exception

Maybe I'll get that for my mother. I'd still upgrade that memory to 512MB. But I'm won't pay $60 for it from dell

$99 for shipping? Sorry they just lost a sale. Between the shipping and the sales tax that's 1/3 the cost of the computer.

Odd... I put it in my cart, estimated tax and shipping and it showed 0$ for shipping. Maybe it's a regional thing?

Never hurts to have a back up monitor.

Their monitors are flat panels, and If I wanted to buy one I'd rather get it serperately where I can get the exact model I want. The ones they have are average quality at best.
