Hosts - sell me on your company right now.
Spam me with hosting, but theres a twist.
Tell me what i would get hosting with you, that i won't get anywhere else. This can be price specials, special peering...anything that sets you apart from the competition. I will be keeping this thread bumped for days. So get your sales pitch in, & make it good! Whoever makes the grade gets a sale. ![]()

We believe we differentiate ourselves from most others with the following:
- Tier-1 Network, PREMIUM Verio bandwidth, guaranteeing fast sites and high uptime - We only use PREMIUM hardware: fast SCSI drives, Xeon processors - Exclusive Pay As You Go shared hosting plans - Exclusive Bandwidth Rollover programs on dedicated servers - FREE first month on all shared hosting plans - All plans (shared and dedicated) are COMPLETELY CUSTOMIZABLE BY YOU - High pay-out on referrals: $25 on referred shared hosting plans, $100 on referred dedicated hosting solutions, plus an additional 15% one-time payout on all plans. We recommend that you contact us for our upcoming specials on dedicated solutions. It will be worth it... Do not hesitate to contact us if you have questions. We look forward to talking to you.

No i'm not a "pr0" from fastservers first of all, i've never been in the hosting business. I sold SEO packages for a friend for almost a month, thats about as much experience as i have.
Now as far as the companies offering $100 on sending a dedicated customer, if you ask me thats cheap as fuck. I've been offered 60-80% of the initial sale, plus 10% recurring for life from several hosting companies (prominent ones). So if you are looking for me to sell some servers for you, i suggest you raise the bottom line above subsistance level for living in government funded housing.

One thing unique about us is that I speak with a majority of our customers on a regular personal basis.
I talk to Mouse, Cum Sensei, St Ides, Nofx, and others on almost a daily basis. Maybe being personal with your host isn't a big deal, but to me personalization is VERY important in todays business world, especially on the internet. Building a personal relationship makes things much more stable, and let's face it; the internet allows people to be as un-personal as they want to be. With Hostive you can call me on my cell at 2am if you want, or talk to me on ICQ all day long. Communication is key and we don't just have to talk about hosting ![]() |
