EpicCash.com Complaint

Before I heavily promote a program, I want to make sure that it's 100% operable with no hitches. One of the things I do is a test signup (in this case, the free signup for epiccams.com...which requires a credit card and whatnot). I went through the full process, and no revenue was credited to my account (it's been over a week at this point).

I've heard humors of certain companies skimming sales. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this seems like that's exactly the case here. I'm usually not one to bitch & complain, but that seems a bit assinine...and obvious.

Anybody have any input on this situation?

What browser were you using, did you send any traffic or atleast fake traffic before sending a test signup, some programs won't count a signup if you just signed up & have 0 hits, its part of their fraud protection.

Good point...and also, if it HAD been credited to your account, would you have told EpicCash about your 'test' or would you have just left it as fraud on YOUR end and get paid for the sale?

Well i won't start this discussion, what his intentions were or were not are irrelevant to me...i just figured i would explain common reasons why this would happen.

Typically if you want to test a sponsor for shaving, buy some really shitty traffic, let an hour pass after its done, then, signup for a 1-time signup fee, or let it rebill until you are even or have lost a dollar....that way its not fraudulent.

Plus there are so many fucking variables, like cookies, browser etc. etc., you would have to do it with multiple cards from multiple places. And you would have to look in the TOS of the program & find out if singing up for their site under your own id is tolerated period. If not they can legally come back & tell you to fuck off anyways.

But what i would NOT DO, is make one purchase, then come on GFY & even hint that a major sponsor was shaving. I would do it on a much larger scale from freshly installed pc's on different ip's in different states & countrys. Then come & post PROOF. (which could be debunked itself) but atleast i'd know for myself & find another sponsor.

My question is why haven't you brought your matter to the attention of the Epic guys ?

As a program owner I'd hope that if there was any concern of discrepancy with a partner of ours they'd come to us and help us work it out. I know we, and I'm sure Epic, spend a lot of resources trying to make support available to partners. So shoot 'em an email or IM I'm sure u guys can work it out.

i don't think a top contender in the adult affiliate world would
stoop so low to take a single signup from a new affiliate.

Now I'm wondering if you used a test signup number? if so
most programs won't log that sale unless it's a real account.

It's hard for me to imagine a legit company like Epic to take
sales from others. I've known and have dealt biz with them
for a long period of time and never did i see one sale missing.

Just my

What did EPICCASH support tell you? I'm assuming you already did that before posting on a public board.

I just want to let you all know that this would never happen at Flash Cash who are in my sig. Why? Because they payout immediately! If it isn't in your epassporte account within 10 minutes, you'd know... But it will always be there because they don't fuck around.

That sounds a bit risky. Theres a reason why everyone releases payments only after some time has passed.

Nice that you didnt bother to even contact me before makeing this post...

Did you login as the member after you signed up for the $1 lifetime or Free LifeTime join?

Contact me so I can find the signup (if you did signup) and see what the problem with it was.

It would never happen there just because they payout right away? why would that make a difference?... nice spam tho.

Epic Cash is 100% legit from my dealings with them and you have to be kidding to make a post like this. You are so worried about 1 "test" join that you didn't try to see a great progarm's potential?

Are you positive that your computer is free of spyware? I'm not sure if this is a problem in this "biz" yet, but we have this problem quite frequently in mainstream where spyware on a surfer's pc will overwrite their cookie or alter the link so that the spyware vendor gets paid for the sale/signup rather than the webmaster.

What were you thinking? You started a thread with the title "EpicCash.com Complaint" on the biggest adult webmaster board in the industry, before you even contacted them regarding this situation? Very lame and unprofessional.

That excuse just doesn't work with me. Not to mention that at $20 PPS using the streammate backend I could pay out the same as you guys for people sending signups to my affiliate code at a different front end. Sure you have fraud measures in place but established affiliates have to deal with the same b/s as the 1 signup a month guy you don't know. Everyone uses fraud as an excuse but site a can pay weekly, b twice a month, and c pays monthly or has a 3 or 4 week hold on the first check. Site a pays more than sites b and c. Hmmmmm

heh.. but seriously. If a program is sneaky(stupid) enough to shave they certainly are going to be smart enough not to shave the first sale. And epiccash is not that sneaky ( nor stupid )

Many pps programs have a security thing that the member has to login first...Did you do this? If not try so.

To bad I never had luck with them either. I still have 40-60 bucks there, but they won't release it, since the payout for EU webmasters is 100 (even for epassporte) while for US webmasters it's 25USD. Oh well, never understood why they made this difference for US/EU webmasters with epass. But since they refused, I know how helpful they are

Yes, I posted here before contacting epiccash support just so see if anybody else has had similar experiences. I understand this is on a very small scale...and isn't any major concern (which is why I didn't make it a big deal).

Regardless, it's probably best to get a hold of Cory directly (which I will do) and not bring this up to the general public until there is something concrete. I'm not "calling out EpicCash" in any way...they're one of the biggest companies, and for good reason I'm sure. However, I just wanted to get some general feedback from the community on something like this.

I actually do well with Epic... And I understand fraud screening systems, it is VERY likely that it was screened.

I spoke with Cory @ EpicCash and worked things out...everything is taken care of, just some misunderstandings.
