300.00 bucks. it's is simply comical that anyone would pay this. 80% of the people in attendance don't make 300.00 a month in this business.

You'll be able to find them. They will be lining up for the free bologna sandwiches at your announced lunch time.

Meanwhile the 50 people who do business at the show will have left the site for a nice lunch and a chance to make their evening plans that don't include sticking around the hotel.

And the minute people catch on that it will be cheaper to get the holiday inn one mile north of the westin than purchase badges for girls, it's over. They won't make it back to the westin until 4pm the next day, just in time to shit shower and shave and do it all over again, meanwhile your sponsors are trying to sell their wares to a non qualified lead..........

im so glad I decided to fly my niece up this summer (the same week as internext) instead of going to Miami's show again. i cant see anything good coming out of this show. i do, however, forecast a train-wreck disaster of a show AND the aftermath is going to be even worse.

We are cancelling our room tomorrow, was really looking forward to seeing a lot of you people there, but there is no way I am gonna take My wife to a show with even less girls attending than the previous shows.

I am sure you are all aware of the incidents that occured with drunken idiots gropping the wifes/girlfriends of fellow webmasters, oviously with less girls to keep them busy drolling over it will only get worse and I know for a fact if this happens to My wife, I will be the one who ends up in jail.

How many people would bring their wives along and simply say they were "Talent" to avoid the $300? A whole bunch of people. I don't agree that wives and woman who really aren't talent should be getting in for free. Legitimate talent? Most definitely.

If there's a solution to that that I missed in this thread, I'd sure love for someone to post it so AVN could see it.

They want a return on their investment and their investment would get a LOT deeper if the models just sat by the pool and drank for free for three days. As a guy, it'd be GREAT for me, but I'm also looking at it from the sponsors point of view.

You can't move everyone to a pool party and make people's wives and girlfriends there pay to hang out at the pool and lobby we all paid the hotel for rooms, you see my point?

If its the floor where the booths are then i understand but even then I wouldn't charge for woman but thats just me, Unless they have a site or they are they promoting something.

Webmasters will remember your sponsored event alot better if they got laid from it or had a great time

But don't take my word for it. I'm always giving money away to earn there business.

I just think a little compromise would be good...If I wasn't in the industry and I wanted to go with my man for a little R&R I would hate to pay $300...but at the same time there are free drinks and food so there should be some small admission charge to cover basic costs...

Let's work this out...because I want to see hot chicks at the pool too!

It helps sopnsors because guys end up staying and talking biz and networking.

I don't hear sponsors bitching about having to do so. They're bitching that IF there are NO girls then webmasters will SPLIT and head to a place where there are.

If a sponsor is paying for drinks they should get some money if they don't want the models and hot ass drinking for free. then I'll pay for my girls to drink and eat no prob. but to make me pay for them to hang out at the hotel is crazy.

If a sponsor pays 10K for a cabana and 10% - 20% of the drinks are going to girls it can be construed as part of their cost of doing business. If not, and 50 - 60% of the guys leave because there are no chicks/eyecandy what's the downside then?

Of course these are arbitrary numbers BUT I think letting girls in might be the lesser of 2 evils.

Everyone wants the hot girls by the pool, I'm sure Aly included. How many people would bring their wives along and simply say they were "Talent" to avoid the $300? A whole bunch of people. I don't agree that wives and woman who really aren't talent should be getting in for free. Legitimate talent? Most definitely. If there's a solution to that that I missed in this thread, I'd sure love for someone to post it so AVN could see it.

If not, and 50 - 60% of the guys leave because there are no chicks/eyecandy what's the downside then?
