Why do females have low self esteem? I mean come on...
Why do females think it is ok for a man to treat them like shit? Why is this? Is it a self esteem issue or what?
Here's an example... One girl I know has been with the same guy for 5 or 6 years. He always fails to do anything special for her birthday, christmas, any holiday or occasion for that matter. There is always some excuse. This same guy cant even get a decent job other then working at compusa.. She makes way more then him and pays most of their bills. Doesnt she get tired of making excuses to herself and everyone else when she gets asked, "So what did so and so do for your birthday?" Some chicks need to wake the fuck up. And no this chick is not ugly. She is a fine looking lady. So what gives? |

Because there are too many other pretty girls around and too much competition. Sometimes girls will see a girl who is really pretty and then get depressed. Ummm, I'm speaking from experience.

Sometimes it's not about self esteem. Some girls just can't handle the thought of being alone. So until (or unless) something better comes along, she is perfectly content (not necessarily happy, but content) to stay right where she is because face it... it could be much worse.
(I have a sister who is exactly like what I just described. I love her dearly, but the thought of ever being alone scares her more than the idea of living contentedly with the same deadbeat of a man for the rest of her life.) |

Sometimes people (women) gravitate to the level they feel comfortable at. They don't feel they can have better, so they settle for what they do have, instead of risking being alone. Some people think being alone is worse than being unhappy in a relationship. They'd take the 3% happiness and deal with the 97% unhappiness to avoid being 100% alone.

Also, you can't try to convince women with low self esteem that they deserve better than the shitty relationship they have. They have to figure it out for themselves. In fact, the more you tell them, the more defensive they will become.

Also hot guys are used to women being drawn to them and are more likely to be tempted. I don't think any hot guy will stay true at all, better to be with someone who treats your worse but at least will stay faithful.
Well, if the guy is unattractive plus poor plus cheats as well, then it's really hopeless.. Also some people stick with guys who treat them bad because they are too depressed to meet someone new. It takes a lot of energy and its giving away a part of you, in order for someone to get to know you, and it's too much of a risk in case it doesn't work out. Sometimes people are just tired of life and take what they can get. They don't have the strength to be on their own and face the world alone plus they don't have the energy to meet someone new and face all the "competition" out there from other women. |
