I have a Sager which is similar to an Alienware. More of a desktop replacement. Only thing I don't like is the shorter battery life and the fans on the bottom. No way I can just sit it on my lap for more then 15-20 minutes.

I'll need mine for some heavy-duty graphics work as well as a little video editing ... anybody have a recommendation? Something with good battery-life.

I have a Vaio.
![]() It has one of the nicest screens that I've ever seen on a laptop. However, it's big and heavy. Not the best option for traveling. I'm thinking about getting an Avertec like this one ![]()

I have a 12'' Powerbook. Nothing compares to Apple's products. I use mine for work when I'm traveling. It's light, fast, and extremely powerful.
P.S. All the high end graphic and video editing software is made for Macs!

I have 3 IBM Thinkpads and 2 Apple Powerbooks. One of my employees has a Dell, and another has a Sony Vaio.
All of 'em rock, and I'd have no probs recommending any of 'em. |
