because when you work you ass off for somebody, you have no clue how much was done on this project in terms of time and money, remember this is a girl who continually asks when her site can be launched - before I began to do any of this because models have such bad reputations on three occassions I asked her explicity if she would commit to the 6 hours a day of WORK 5 days a week a real webmaster would and which she said she wanted to be - I didn't give this girl a GIFT or a TOY - it didn't come without any strings - as somebody said in this thread NOTHING IS FOR FREE in this life - when you TAKE there are always expectations. And mine were clear. And once this thing was launched and people knew I was involved - my reputation also goes on the line. the majority of people in this industry thought I was a partner in it.

Second was to email the thousands of webmaster affiliates (the most important people to your business) and telling them to quit sending you traffic.
You then change your mind about everything hours later. Sending out an email to confirm to all your affiliates you have no idea what you are doing, cannot make a decision, and are willing to break the law.

I think he means the decision to switch to Nats is what is causing much of the problem for her and for her affiliates, not Nats itself.

Nats = good
Decision = bad

Ashley/Nikki -- I know hindsight is 20/20... but you really should have left things as they were, and quietly worked on your own site and new content behind the scenes. Then, when everything was ready to go live you could have switched over to the new system and simply asked all your affiliates to change out their existing linking codes to the new ones. That is far less work for webmasters than having to take down hundreds or in some cases thousands of links.

There was really no need to jump the gun and have all this drama. It seriously does appear as though you've shot yourself in the foot big time with your recent decisions.

get this through your head - i would have been HAPPY to make money with Ashley - I could NOT because she was under a contract to another company and the reason I have credibility in this industry is because nobody who has ever dealt with me has ever been shafted by me or have I failed to deliver what I told them I would. So becoming Ashley's partner wasn't in the cards - I don't steal models. So she was offered ........... help .......... and that help would NEVER have amounted to what it turned out to be if Ashley had any work ethic or sincerity in her original agreement with me. The amount of time, money and stress building Ashley's empire is a direct result of Ashley's failure to do anything much on her own. And i begged, motivated and cajoled - Ashley does what Ashley wants - when it suits her. I had NO options - well yes i did - I could dump her ass as people told me to or I could continue on and hope she saw the light - what I did was decide to continue on BUT with fair stern warnings that if the light never went on for her - then I would call her bluff one day.

As for the money - Ashley does NOT want me to go there ever . Stop obsessing about money that was spent - the only time I ever threw money in Ashley's face was because I realized she understood the concept of money but couldn't understand the concept of work, so to get her ass in gear I attempted to shame her into working, pathetic as that sounds that I would have to do that - work is much more important than money - and she was told that - i thought she would grasp things eventually - didn't happen.

People in this industry these days work hard to make shitty livings, decent livings and great livings - she wanted to be the REAL DEAL - the owner and webmaster of AshleyBrookes.com - she wasn't willing to pay the price. End of story.

They will stab anyone in the back to get ahead, and they'll fuck over partners or people who helped the along the way in order to get more $. People in this industry are scummy for the most part and you have to be careful who you really hook up with and help. I for one never help anyone who I believe wouldn't help me if the situation where reversed.

LL I understand your desire to stick up for Ashley's side in all this but honestly her sending out that first email was rash & impulsive. Her later on changing her mind & sending out a 2nd email, really didn't do much for her overall picture, it showed the 1st email as rash & impulsive even more than the 1st email had done by itself. It showed her in a light that she is incapable of making one decision & sticking to it. Furthermore this thread itself is proof of exactly what Mutt is saying his problem was with her.

Throw on top of that the snotty way she posted to Mutt earlier in the thread about how she wanted to work out a way to repay him, and her attitude is pure shit imo. She doesn't need to go making posts like that to "show her willingness to repay him" when he's stated numerous times that he just wanted to see her put in a little effort. Maybe its time she stopped hiding, and did just that.

In your first day alone you managed to stir up quite the fire. Your first matter was to switch to nats, in turn destroying the network of ccbill links to your site. Second was to email the thousands of webmaster affiliates (the most important people to your business) and telling them to quit sending you traffic. You then change your mind about everything hours later. Sending out an email to confirm to all your affiliates you have no idea what you are doing, cannot make a decision, and are willing to break the law. The amount of time, money and stress building Ashley's empire is a direct result of Ashley's failure to do anything much on her own. And i begged, motivated and cajoled - Ashley does what Ashley wants - when it suits her. I had NO options - well yes i did - I could dump her ass as people told me to or I could continue on and hope she saw the light - what I did was decide to continue on BUT with fair stern warnings that if the light never went on for her - then I would call her bluff one day. As for the money - Ashley does NOT want me to go there ever . Stop obsessing about money that was spent - the only time I ever threw money in Ashley's face was because I realized she understood the concept of money but couldn't understand the concept of work, so to get her ass in gear I attempted to shame her into working, pathetic as that sounds that I would have to do that - work is much more important than money - and she was told that - i thought she would grasp things eventually - didn't happen. People in this industry these days work hard to make shitty livings, decent livings and great livings - she wanted to be the REAL DEAL - the owner and webmaster of AshleyBrookes.com - she wasn't willing to pay the price. They will stab anyone in the back to get ahead, and they'll fuck over partners or people who helped the along the way in order to get more $. People in this industry are scummy for the most part and you have to be careful who you really hook up with and help. I for one never help anyone who I believe wouldn't help me if the situation where reversed.
