You need to attend job fairs, start making connections, look into internships etc. from your first year at school.

You can go to college for four years, get a degree and walk out of college with no idea where you're going or what to do. It's all about the career. Of course I'm making some assumptions here, maybe you know where you're going already.

I had one of those in school today. Comedy Central ad-sales wanted me to apply and two internet marketing companies after i talked to the execs one on one. I kind of laughed at the thought of internships and low level job offers after i told them what I do. I did, however, give them a few ideas that they'll be following up on with me that will hopefully turn out well.

I was at 17, what's your point? What's wrong with going back to school to try to expand your horizons? If you are done learning you might as well be dead. I did the same thing when I returned to study after working for a few years. I could have afforded to live away from home but I chose to cut my working hours right back so I could study more and living back at home allowed me to do just that!
