No salary? I wonder how long it would take someone to start seeing a check?

If you have a good base of people it shouldnt take long. Porn kings is a solid program and the reputation alone should give the new rep plenty of leads.

This is where contacting old affiliates comes into play... If you're good at talking shop with people and you're able to get someones traffic you'll do fine..

If you're someone who cannot talk to people well and has no expreience of closing a deal you're prolly not gonna want to sign up..

hiring is not the correct term. offering webmaster referral commissions is not hiring. if it were, then every program on the net is hiring.

I am hiring them because there are perks involved with being on this team.. And this may lead to a salary base upon evidence they have a good track record.. I'm not here to hire people on salary to milk my money away and do jack shit.. So kindly remove yourself from this thread..

A Salary shows your willing to invest in them and want someone serious, doing straight commission on something like this is kinda like non committing to the position. If someone can get results and has contacts chances are they are earning a salary somewhere else.

this argument has gone on for years between owners/managers and employees.

Owners have been screwed around too many times by people who take the job with promises of amazing results only to fail. Then the employee steals the customer base and goes somewhere else.

Employee's see commission with hope of salary as not a serious job and will only take it since it first looks good on a resume when applying to other companies who will pay salary - then they still take your client list and go there.

Few employee's take a job seriously when there is nothing up front to help them get over the learning curve or start up. Employeers are tired of hiring useless twits who are temp and eventually hurt the companies reputation by showing high turn over in a sales force.

In short, you are getting what you paid for.

A good company will want solid employees who show clients that they are stable and growing. Eye brows are raised when someone jumps from job to job (generally commissioned) in addition to the long process of introduction then a few months later, they are gone.

its a risk on the company's part - that is why choosing the right employee who has a solid reputation and is known for being trustworthy is more than a rookie who's willing to take commission.

I hope you guys can find the right person for the job and will sincerely consider offering a stronger package to qualified salespersons who have solid references that show you can trust in their performance as they represent your company.

Do you have experience running a program with multiple sales agents under your belt getting nothing done? If you did this is what you'd probably be doing too.. This was the case with past sales reps I've had.. The didnt live up to what their contract stated they would do, they were paid well too..

I have seen way too many people come on as a paid employee who do terrible and sit and milk it.. If I see you're a good earner, sure I'd pay you a salary, but when I have no clue what you're really capable of, I'm gonna want to test the waters...

If you don't want to apply then whatever.. this may not be for everyone... But if you show initiative and productivity then there's room for growth..

I'm thinking it will be about $6 per sale that the rep will get paid... Lets say you establish a connection with a program who sends through 10 sales a day....

You're making $1800 a month just off one program....

Multiply this by however many programs there are out there.. you get the idea...

I wouldn't mind giving it a shot, but the thing is with these is that no one is willing to give you a chance unless you have prior experience in the field. Of course you can't get the experience since everyone requires you already have it. Good luck in your search.

As a webmaster, and dealing with support from other programs I see what they do wrong, or most times they don't even know what the fuck they are talking about on a daily basis. But I have no program sales experience. I just sit on the other side ot the programs all day long.

Personally, I advise you to look for someone who isn't in the business of affiliate marketing, pay them a nominal salary, give them some very high goals they don't realize are high, and then pay them a bit less in commission.

There are a ton of successful people in this business who started that way. And you get the loyalty from most of them for a couple of years since they didn't already come in with a background involving a bunch of different companies.
