I've seen his other posts, and although I don't know him, he seems to be the antagonist here. But you're a business person, he's not. Best just to ignore him, perhaps? I posted a LOT of suggestions/questions in an older (month or two ago) thread about NATS. Any luck on implementing stats to count join/cc attempts? Breakdown by processor?

I recall the thread. I'll have to let Fabian answer that one however.

Re: Alien; one can only be poked in the eye so many times. At this point he deserves some replies. It's not going to do any good as he'll never realize how people truely look upon him unless he gets some professional help. But oh well, maybe he'll think about it a bit.

I look forward to Fabian's answer

Regarding the other thing, don't take what I said before as a flame or something.. I'm just from mainstream and I think theres a ton of untapped potential in adult for things to become more.. business. And I saw NATS as something that was run as a proper business. Something I'd like to see more of.

Thank you. And I agree mostly

Adult does certainly need to become more professional and business oriented. And it will simply by evolving. One thing that bothers me however (and you'd be suprised how many times I've heard it) is mainstream people saying how they are so much more professional than adult people. There are a lot of professional people in adult and a lot of non-professional people in mainstream (online and offline). I've worked in both. If I was in mainstream and sitting face to face with someone I thought of as I think of Alien I would have no problem telling them how I feel and getting up and leaving. It would probably impact me less that way as there wouldn't be an audience to witness it as there is here. It's not so much a matter of adult vs. mainstream and professional vs. non-professional. He's simply a nutcase.

Haha, mainstream is no more professional than adult. And there's a lot more shady dealings going on, people getting scammed and the like. GFY et al are the only thing holding this industry together. The community, and your reputation inside it. Most people here are willing to help each other at great costs, which makes the potential amazing. Far beyond what it could be in any mainstream industry.

I want to see more accountability on sponsors and processors, and this is going to be handled by a software solution from a trusted 3rd party. I see NATS as the platform to enable that. So I only hope to coerce you into agreeing with me and executing it.

Would like to see a feature where you can credit affiliates for all sites that maybe listed under 1 domain. When we used CCBills affiliate software on our movie pay per download sites we could credit affiliate for all sales made under 1 domain. For example we have some domains that sell movies on a buy per download basis. Each movie is seen by the biller as its own site, so to intergrate this for affiliates currently with NATS we have to add each movie download as its own site. Painfull as we have over 100 pay per download movies. This is my xmass wish list.

Rest of NATS is superb never looked back since day 1

Hi,

what I am saying is that if we do a full blown api to anything in NATS, it would most likely be relatively easy to alter the display of statistics and similar things in order to defraud resellers. We have to be careful that whatever API we offer, we do not let that happen. This makes an API a little trickier.

Currently if a member joins the program and enters a space or dash anywhere in the ICQ field, NATS doesn't store any data after the space or dash, for example:

123-123-123 becomes 123

A very big problem for me not being able to ICQ my affiliates.

you might want to consider doing something similar to microsofts product certification (coded for NATS) for plug ins.

there would be a plugin marketplace (imagine the increase sales comus would get if they release a plugin that allowed best converting galleries as a sort feature)

I had to post just one more item to my wishlist which I think would be very benificial to everyone using NATS. You need something where affiliates can fill out a W9 form through NATS and then NATS can save that information in its system. That way we have everything on file for that affiliate making much less work for us.

I've had a problem with entering my address with several sponsors that use nats. I had put the street address in line 1 and the apartment number in line 2 but the check is printed with only the street address and it ends up getting sent back. The only solution I found is to enter the full address into line 1 along with the apartment number in line 2. I entered the apartment number in line 2 as well just for kicks and things seemed to work out. I should mention that a buddy of mine had the same problem.

My first guess is that the dump format they are using is not proper. If you could please email me the sponsors you are referring to (albright*toomuchmedia*com) or ask them to contact us we will be more than glad to help them get that fixed up. Thanks for the heads up!

Can NATS do server side tracking apart from cookies, e.g. PHP sessions or IP tracking, etc. due to the increase of privacy products that erase cookies?

not sure if this is repeat but i would like if the "referrers" can be tracked by domains . Just like sextracker does , so when u look the results arent' 20 different links all over the place of different pages.
