Hell I am nearing 30 now and I still wouldn't seriously date a single mom. Life is too short, might as well enjoy it while you can.

i wouldn't hold the fact that a girl has a child against her. you could be missing out on someone real great. of course if you don't want the responsibility or 'hassle' of having a kid around, might not be the best idea. the older you get, the harder it is to find women without kids.

I love to nail the "mother" in all possible ways. I also make friends with the kids. I eventually just stop returning her calls. The kids cry for a while, but they are use to pain from the loss of their actual father. Losing a guy who simply "used" their mother is hardly as painful.

I wait until I am tired of her or until she asks about "the relationship." I let the kids keep most of the gifts I might have given them.

It really depends.

I probably would date a girl that had a kid ONLY if the father had absolutely no contact with them. If he hauled ass and I was able to eventually adopt the child then yes, I would go for it and raise the child as my own.

However, if the father still has contact then I wouldn't touch it with a 10' pole! The reason being is because it will be hard to raise the kid with another influence (which is probably influencing the child to think you're an asshole). It could and will present tons of problems. The kid will always have daddy to get his back and you would be SERIOUSLY limited to how you discipline the child.

Fucking a single mother on the other hand....

for whatever my pearls of wisdom are worth - consider this...

sure, date the woman but keep the kids out of it. in other words, be supportive, but decline the opportunity to meet them and get to know them until you are certain you want to really date exclusivley or whatever.

make sure you care enough about the girl before you take on the extra baggage (which isnt necessarily a BAD thing depending on the situation)
