#1- I'm a retired NYPD police officer (on duty injury) and was stationed in the 73 PCT in brownsville housing projects in Brooklyn. I've fought, and arrested more murderous drug dealing skells than most people see on TV. 260 violent arrests, 14 gun collars. That also means if i ever went to jail I'd go to a "special place" with no Bubbas.

#2- I know the system, therefore I can "articulate" on paper why my actions were justified (that's why I know what I can get away with). It's also why i know the local police are powerless in these cases until the worst happens.

I admit I lost my temper, and maybe it wasn't wise...but I don't really give a shit. How about that!

When you have a nut following someone you love...you wait for the police, and then visit your loved one in the hospital...or cemetary. I'll do it my way.

However, I certainly wouldn't be admitting to it and on top of that admitting to having police officers cover it up for you. Although criminal charges are dropped, civil charges can always happen. It seems you do well financially, and someone would take advantage of that.

I also don't see much about bragging about beating someone up with a bat. That's not that hard.

I simply articulated how I had the bat for my protection when asking him nicely to move along since based on his history he posed a threat to my employee. It was well within my legal right to take protection with me to investigate why he was there. The facts as written are simple...self defense, if he didn't drop charges, he'd be arrested also (and he was on probation...lol). So you see it is all in the articulation of the facts of the event.

You can "get away" with just about anything if you know how to state the facts.
