When is the right time to get married, found a family?

I am turning 24 today, and I am starting to feel kind of old thinking about having kids...

I think 26-27 is the right age to start a family...

Next step for me is getting married or proposing to my GF. All of this is so stressfull!
Is thinking of taking the big step of asking somebody to marry you supposed to be nerve racking?

is it normal that I am nervous, or is nervousness a sign of doubt and doubt a sign that I am not ready?

I actually asked the same question to a friend the other day.
I'm 21. Some of my friends are seriously thinking about having a family in a few years.

Personally, I'm not at all ready for a family. I'd say 35.

if you hear about ex-class mates that have kids and such it put things in perspective.

so when your first kid is 15, you want to be 50?

That's what really got me thinking. I want to still have many active years in front of me when I have kids...

50 is not old by any means considering people live longer than before but still...

oh ok, so adult webmasters cannot have kids. It's immoral.

I am a distributor, nothing more.

I guess the guy that owns a video rental shop with an adult section should also not have kids. Neither should the guy that owns the corner store and sells porno mags.

If you have doubts or you're not sure... don't do it.

I learned that one the hard way, lol.

Marriage is not a wise move, not being a buzz kill, but 50%+ end in divorce. Everyone I ever knew that was in a successful relationship, (mostly) did not involve marriage. Marriage is a piece of paper that gives a high level (unlevel playing field) to the women and they sometimes abuse it.

Get the kids out of the way NOW! You do not want to deal with new borns when get older, unless it is a love child at age 50 with a stripper.

When you are in your early 20's you are trying to build a life, and shit is new and tough for the most part.... throw a kid into the mix asap!

If you do not do it until early, mid-30's you are so used to freedom, that the newborn will be a threat.
