Allthough Sony makes truely GREAT laptops and have superior screens their
battery life SUCKS DONKEY BALLS. From what you request I would go for a fujitsu-siemens

Sony Vaio. I haven't used anything but in years, and I've only had one problem with one that was taken care of in one day. (Bad board on a brand new one, Fry's gave me another one within a half hour of walking back into the store with it).
The Lifebook looks interesting, I was checking them out at Fry's a couple of months ago. |
