I'm hanging out with my ex tomorrow night for her 21st birthday. What should I get her? I'm thinking of getting a bottle or two of some nice cabernet and a couple bucks. Any other ideas?

We were in love and we're still friends, so I want to give her something nice but not make it "weird" by getting her something too personal like jewlery.

Really? That is just weird. Frankly I think giving money as a gift, unless the other person needs it, is kind of pointless altogether.

I like taking people out to dinner as a gift, its always fun and you know they'll enjoy it. Otherwise the wine sounds good to me, maybe a CD or something.

If it's a friend or a bf they can give me whatever they want, but I HATE receiving money from family, it makes me feel like a kid again, and like they think I'm poor and can't take care of myself.
