Actually, at one point in time they could fuck up a motherboard pretty good... not on new PC's though. Operating systems are also alot more virus resistant now, on a windows 95 PC a virus could pretty much have it's way.

Hi Daruma,

We've been made aware of that domain registration and have legal counsel looking into it now. We did make a number of domain name purchases on the evening of Tuesday, August 19th after we were made aware that the video was out and Steve had finally spoke with Jordan and recognized that it was real. This was done in an effort to stem the tide of this video getting out further or people using this situation to their advantage. However, the domain name you mention above...we did NOT register. We'd like to know who did as well

Since Tuesday we've been trying to deal with this situation as diligently as possible -- following through on all leads we've received and trying to stem the tide. Our legal counsel has asked us not to make any public speculations at this time, and that we wait until the conclusion of our investigations when we have more concrete information on hand to share with everyone.

Of course, some people just aren't that smart... But I seriously doubt he did it to brag to his friends. Plus it wouldn't be hard to automate. Maybe he's just a cyber peeping tom and got lucky. He doesn't have to wait for them to be uploaded. He can just grab them off the harddrive.
