find out what drug company is producing this drug, if it is experimental then they might be willing to help out. i knew a guy who was on an experimental drug.
also contact all the radio stations and grocery stores, and tell them, lots of people in BC do that and get donations that way. get the word out to everyone who will listen

I do know how it feels when your kid is in the hospital not knowing he survives or not.

I my case people took advantage to buy out a lot of my stuff as cheap as possible (like sharks) because they knew I needed the cash. :/

I really don't know what the drug is.. All I know is that it's going to be expensive. I will have the first meeting October 21 with a specialist in Houston. Until then I am going to take care of my son and my family the best I can. After that, I'll know the surgery's date, etc...

Its a bit off the wall - but if it comes to it find out if it can be done in the UK - with the system we have here he would be treated with zero questions and for free. Even as a Canadian visitor.

Seriously look into St Jude here in Memphis, it's a cancer treatment center for kids and they are incredble. They've got some great programs set up and even have a place for out of town parents to stay while theur child undergoes treatment.

I was about to offer the same advice, since one of my step-daughters suffered a brain tumor a few years ago and unfortunately was just a few months too old to be accepted by St Jude.

I really don't remember the drug's name or what the treatment is. Both my wife and I were in total shock to learn the news.. It was if the doctor was speaking but I couldn't hear what he was saying. Doctors are not counselors. As soon as I have more information I will see if it's possible to have to same treatment in the U.K.

I'd travel to the end of the world to save my son.

It is an amazing hospital and since there cannot be too many experimental drugs around for this condition, there is a strong possibility the one they mention at the bottom of that second page is the one your doctor is talking about.

Is it possible to send you something via a paper check? With all the problems you are having with PP and Epass, this might be a better solution for some.

I don't know you from Adam, but I have a daughter 5 and a son 9mo and would do whatever it takes to save one of them. I wish all of you the best in this extremely difficult situation that you are facing.
