epassporte Rep : This is Bullshit!

I loved epassporte... did the job instead of paypal, my clients use it, I do too... it's good... I get money, withdraw with my card, everyone is happy..

But this here is fuckin bullshit... I went to the atm on the first as I needed to pay some bills I budgeted I'd take from the epass account... DENIED. so I log in, and I get a msg on oct1st saying they are sending a replacement, that other card is active until OCT2006. so I send a msg to support thinking its a mistake, that surely they should have left it active unyil oct is over... but no.. here is the response lol pretty amateur to me to leave a client without his card for some time just for a renewal...

This has to be the worst bull I ever heard... cancelling a card without any transition period in between renewals... you just send a message saying that
1- a new card is renewed automatically (and charged)
2- your old card is now de-activated.
3- we will be mailing a replacement.

who the hell thought of this system where you don't get a transition period? any credit card or accounts I had with anyone, weather it is my visa/mastercard/amex/paypal had a transition period...

I am truly disapointed in this service right now. this is bullshit.

They left me hanging for a couple months at renewal time. That reminds me, must cancel before my next renewal or I may get dinged $105 again! (Got charged 3x for my card and they never credited me even though they promised to on several occasions)

Magnatique - that's something new - last ours got renewed *june 2006* the card is good until the end of the month - they still manage to get your card there a few days before though.

This must be something new.

My card renewed in December, they billed me in November, December and again a few months later.

Edit: I should note that I lost my card in November and they issued a replacement, the support person assured me this would count as my renewal, but alas, I got dinged a month later and had my replacement card turned off prematurely.

Not worth raising hell about, I tried going through support, was promised two refunds, they didn't come. Simple solution, they lost a customer. Not like I pushed volume through it anyhow.

They cannot just assume that this is like any other business where you expect a certain amount of unsatisfied customers no matter the level of support. When you fuck with FHGs that's one thing, but when fuck with someone's livelihood you instantly lose them as well as all the others that get scared after hearing the story.

To this point my relationship with ePassporte has been outstanding and hopefully renewal time will be no problem.

I wonder if they use some kind of foreing indian tech support team...

this is what the guy replied after my last reply :

Dear Cardholder,

I received your e-mail, however was unable to determine what was your
exact inquiry or concern. Can you please send me another e-mail and
clearly explain what are your concerns?

I am looking forward to assisting you.

Regards,

rodney d.

exact same thing happened to me around renewal time.

Epassporte customer support staff are fucking retarded.

that being said, I still like the service and use it, but I make sure I never depend on it, cause it's as reliable as a crack whore.

I've had one or two problems with them and find it is much much easier to give them a call, first time after a few emails I calld and problem was solved in 5 minutes, second time I just called right away and it was again solved in 5 minutes

I don't know why they don't have you activate the new card when you get it instead of automatically turning the other one off.... It took MONTHS to get our replacement cards in a few instances and believe me it pissed me off to NO END.

mine also came after the old one had expired leaving me without access to my funds but it may have been the post office not them it was def sent before the old one expired , but a little more leeway would have been nice. Also some stpid glitch wouldnt let me authenticate my new card , it would say it did it fine then it would tell me i needed to auth the new card and set a pin , but keep going thru the same loop so i just ignored it , tried the old pin and it works fine so all good .

anyways sorry to hear about the problems , heres a bump 4 you.. the amount of epassporte problem threads has slowly been decreasing , lets hope because support is getting better

I apologize for the hassle you have had getting this solved.
Unfortunate sometimes when a new card is ordered the bank reset the pin code on your current card.
Please try changing your pincode (only fill out the new pin code nothing else) then it should work.
If you continue to have problems please contact me with your account name.

Thanks

Can you please email me the account name?
I think I handled this with Lady M when I just started and if you email me your account name I will get it sorted right this time.

I got my new card in late August, and it said my card would be valid in October (the old card worked thru september).. October is here and the card works.

You helped at the start of the problem, it isn't worth the effort. The point is support promised me one thing, and it never happened. I shouldn't have to go to someone else to get a problem solved.

I only use ePass to accept payment from a few select people and then transfer it over to PayPal. Too many threads and problems for me to depend on such a service.
