well i heard they tried to cut a deal so viacom stuff could be on youtube... i guess after talks fell through and youtube didnt remove all the videos.. they sued... its the american way...

Thats exactly what I was thinking.
Although rapid share and others do take down links if you ask them too.

Would be good against all the content sharing forums aswell.
