I'm not so sure these people are "too lazy" to get health insurance. For a family, health insurance will run you about $500 a month (assuming everyone is healthy). Add in a couple grand for a deductible, co-payments for visits, and prescriptions, and you're talking about spending a good chunk of money for just being healthy.

Now what if you have diabetes, hypertension, or some other long term disease? They simply won't take you. And if they do, they won't cover your pre-existing condition.

There are millions of Americans who don't have health insurance for reasons other than "they're too lazy to signup".

You get what you pay for. Our hospitals charge $25 for an aspirin, $150 for a nurse to take your temperature and blood pressure, and $200 just to have a doctor look at your chart for a minute. Sure their hospitals might not have a waterfall in the lobby and marble floors, but they still work just as well (if not better).

Not really, the two parties who are bought and paid for by the companies in this country have made a system that makes it impossible for anyone outside their parties to run. We could have the most brilliant man alive want to run for President, have tons of support, yet he doesn't stand a chance in the current system unless he picks a party.

As for protesting, take a look at some of the laws that have been passed. It's very difficult to protest anything these days with "free speech zones" and other ordinances that block that right.
