This morning my laptop doesn't want to start. Missing some boot files.

About the whole lock thing.

I DID NOT BREAK THE LOCK ITSELF. I locked it, and then when trying to open it, THE KEY broke in half. That's why I was driving through the shops -- to try and get the KEY fixed, not the lock.

But fuckin hell, instead of at least trying to figure out a good solution for the both of us (like selling the studio and getting the money back), they hack the hell out of me. Now my laptop is down, way to go, nice business ethics.

How exactly do you fix a key?

With part of a broken key stuck in the lock, the lock is not operable (could be described by some as broken). You would need a locksmith to fix the lock (so that it becomes operable again) and at that time he could re-key the lock and provide an entirely new key, or possibly create a copy of the old key (if the lock was not damaged beyond having a broken piece of metal stuck in it).

You sound like you were not entirely honest with your partner.

I also like the idea that the "owner" was just a boyfriend and the real owner is going to fly in today and shoot you a couple times in the legs for stealing all his stuff and telling him such a lame story as to why the studio is completely empty and there is a duct tape smiley face on the wall.

The keys themselves are not fixed, when you have 2 parts of a key you can sometimes make a duplicate of that keys. Unfortunately, this was not the case.

And the key did break, but not the lock. I twisted the key and broke off, but I was able to take out the 2nd part of it.

I was a bit too honest with my partner by telling him everything he wanted to know (who has the keys, how many keys are there, etc.), and that's when he backstabed me.

Thanks man, the landlord is a judge, and there's a case opened on this issue already. The threats stopped when the landlord called out who is the person responsible for the broken lock. Now they just go for the hacking method.

Couple of months ago we decided to build a cam studio in the country I live in, and we did. Fone-cash sent me over the equipment, I found a good place, setup connection, found girls, etc.

While we're closing the door, for some reason one of the girls asks my keys from the studio. I'm a trusting fella and was like suuure no problem, if you need to print out something tonight go ahead. So now I have no keys.

Next morning I get an sms saying I'm sacked and that the owner of fone-me is going to "sort everything out".

Naturally my first thought is that they just want to take the studio that I've built and operate it without me. So I go to the studio (priorly taken the keys from the landlord), and accidentally break the freackin key from the lock the girls (and fone-me's owner) don't have the keys to. The door is shut. FUCK.

Ok, so I go driving through the shops that could help fix the key, not much luck. At that point I call the landlord, who was busy at that moment, and we arrange a meeting at the studio to figure out what to do. During that time I was getting calls from the girls saying "YOU MUFACKAH OPEN THE STUDIO OR WE BREAK THE DOOR DOWN". I'm like... ugh... ookkkk.

So at the time of the meeting with the landlord we arrive to the studio (been driving with friends who know around town for the "key shops"). What do I see? The system administrator and a girl are standing near the studio with all the pcs packed up and are waiting for a ride. WTF? So you fire me and steal everything? We could've just sold the damn studio and I'd give the money back. Instead, you pay MY employees to stab me in the back. Why make all that circus? We could've just went for different conditions that would be more appealing for each other, but I guess sacking is teh shit these days.

More than that, THEY BROKE THE LOCK to the studio. Everything inside was trashed, torn apart. And a duck tape smiley face on the wall. So the landlord comes, is like wtf on the broken lock, calls the cops. Of course my honest employees ran away when the landlord came. And whoever broke the lock is going to prison (the landlord is a high authority judge).

And today I find my gmail account hacked, and everything associated with it also hacked. They even tried to take money off my paypal! WTF? Thankfully I blocked all my credit cards. It's like "Oh we gave you the studio, but now you're fired, we paid your employees to bail on you, and to take the studio away from you, have a nice one, and now we're going to hack the fuck out of you".

A really honest way to do business.

I know it's a long read, but I'm really amazed at how you can run a business -- pay somebody to do backstabbing work.

And the girls that I've found and been in good relationship with just turn your back on you, as well as a friend whom you hire as your system administrator.

More than that, the so called employees offered my friends (the ones that happened to be with me during the packing) MONEY TO TURN THEIR BACK ON ME AND HELP THEM GET THE EQUIPMENT OUT.

I am the owner that Alex refers to above. I was going to let Alex crawl back under his stone but I cannot allow this to pass.

I first met Alex when he posted in this forum looking for an affiliate managers job. I gave him a job with a generous salary and the financial and technical back up he asked for.

He was a complete failure in generating revenue through the niche for which he was employed.

To cut a long story short he says it is the cam business that he knows best and that I should open a studio in Riga.

I pay for premises, equipment, (pc's, cams, routers, lights etc) furniture, recruitment of girls, salary for a technical guy, and I continue to pay Alex's salary.

Three months later the studio is producing virtually no revenue and is still costing me $8000 month.

I fly over to try and get the business going. I invite Alex and the 2 girls he has managed to recruit to dinner. Alex declines to attend because some other adult industry people will be there.

I then learn that Alex is skimming the girls money that I send him. The tech guy no longer works there but I am still sending Alex money to pay him.

Worst of all Alex cannot retain the girls that are recruited because he scares them off by sitting and watching while they do a show.

I decide to terminate Alex's employment.

The next day I go to the premises with the 2 girls who have happily agreed to help me collect the equipment to return to base.

The lock has been broken and jambed. Alex did not have a key to get in so he has stopped me from getting in.

I call a locksmith to open the door. Unfortunately I have to catch a flight to Amsterdam so I leave the girls packing the equipment.

Four hours later I get a voicemail to my mobile from a terrified 18 year old girl saying that Alex came with 5 goons and forcibly stole all of the equipment.

Please remember Alex is an employee of the business. He has no financial investment in the company no does he hold any shares.

So you can all make your mind up what happend here. You can believe Alex who by his own admission was "sacked" from his job but still thinks he can empty the company premises of anything of value. Or you can believe me the who has lost the best part of $40,000 since I had the bad judgement to employ Alex Digo.

I have met lots of good honest Latvians, unfortunately guys like Alex are turning the country into a commercial pariah.

I suppose I was naive and with dollops of hindsight it was a recipe for diaster. In the UK my word is good enough in lots of different places and likewise we trust others not to rip us off. This is how we do things.

The thing is Alex is now destrying any chance he has of working in this industry by plying his nonsense on gfy. At best only 25% of the people who read this will entertain his version of events. Even those people are unlikely to trust him !

First of all, I have never skimmed any money from anybody. I knowingly told the girls they will be making 50% off privates, so they'd think we have an equal share, but in reality the studio was making less (60/40 cut).

The only times I EVER sat in the same room with a performer, was when I was REQUESTED to adjust video quality/lights/checkout who is the abusive guy/and so on.

The studio that we started was on it's way to make money, first month didn't have much revenue as we were just starting. The second had more than $1k income, the third would've done more, and so on. It's not a 2 month thing.

And you say that the tech guy doesn't need his money? The guy worked a full month and deserved it, I was going to wire him the money but then I get an sms saying I'm sacked.

And the lock wasn't broken before you came there, I took the keys from the landlord and accidentally broke THE KEY while trying to unlock the door.

Then you call the locksmith, and put everybody who was there in a position, where they've taken part in a break-in.

On top of that, it was clearly said that the studio is mine. I would've gladly worked out a solution where we work back the money invested into it, but instead I get a stab in the back with the studio broken into and equipment packed up, and a smiley face on the wall.

Also with my INITIAL employment, the deal was about a Cam business -- I never said I was good at marketing Phone Sex.

And I guess that instead of figuring out possible solutions to the problem, it's best to try and get rid of the guy.

I built you an operating cam studio, and of course there would be a certain period of time before the money is being won back. I really think you ought to listen to some of the advise you are being offered in this thread. At the end of the day you got sacked because you were to immature for the position and you did not perform. (an error on my part for giving you the job)

You got sacked so you stole all of the equipment from the studio and now you are bitching that you had a hard time.

To be honest 6 pc's, some cams and some lights is a cheap price to pay to get rid of you.

You got cought with your pants down and try to fix what's worth fixing. You know you're getting sacked, so you try to take studio equipement by jamming the door and coming later.

Since the equipement was not yours and you didnt invested your money you dont have the right to acuse the site owner .
You may have worked your ass off to make it a good and profitable studio but was just a job and you just got fired .
Running a cam studio is not so easy .
In a way i understand your position, problems with models, very hard to find serious models, tech problems , isp problems, working with a lot of models is very hard, you invested time etc .
But you made a deal with someone . He paid for all and your job was to run it .
If the owner is expencting miracles from you well you must do everything you can to perform them . If not he can always end it .
If you cant respect your part of the deal then let others that can and never cause problems just becouse you are not needed anymore .

So at the time of the meeting with the landlord we arrive to the studio (been driving with friends who know around town for the "key shops"). What do I see? The system administrator and a girl are standing near the studio with all the pcs packed up and are waiting for a ride. WTF? So you fire me and steal everything?

So the landlord comes, is like wtf on the broken lock, calls the cops. Of course my honest employees ran away when the landlord came. And whoever broke the lock is going to prison (the landlord is a high authority judge).

How can they run away whit all the pc's and stuff so he is saying that he has the shit.

Tip - If you ever deal with the "phone sex" industry - everything needs to be on a contract, the jurisdiction for any disputes clearly defined and ya want photo ID's of every alleged "owner" or "rep" - otherwise tell em to go fuck themselves
