Who's behind Chio and VerifiedCharge.com? i.e. Why should we trust them?

Waaaayyyyyyy back when Chio first mentioned that he was going to develop this alternative to ePass, this issue was raised and Chio said he would come out and let everyone know who was involved, what their background was etc. etc. etc. so we could figure out if they were "trustworthy"... I've been away for a few days and notice things seemed to have opened up at least in some limited way...

So where's the disclosure about who's going to be holding onto everyone's money? Who are these people and what are their backgrounds?

He has answered some in the thread. Money would be held by BOA up to FDIC 100,000 per account if I recall. As in a real bank and the security of it.

Only people who deffinatly will stay way the fuck away are the mass tax dodgers who think epass offers them enough invisability from the IRS that they are safe in the US if they just use an ATM. Which of course is about 75% of gfy's small to average US webmasters.

Chio is trustworthy and has solid references.

I will let him reply though, it's not my business to list off what he's done.

He does a good pirate imitation and seems like a smart cat.I'm sure it will all come out eventually and people will make their own decisions. The toughest part is getting people to trust the company

Exactly... So far I've avoided getting an epass account and am really hopeful for what Chio is offering... I just remember the promise of full disclosure and so would like to see that.

I'm still put off by the lie Chio made when he said he sold the autoblogger company to Edgeprod. It was apparently done so he could skip out of supporting the original versions of autoblogger.

Poor customer support is what did in epass, it is going to take some convincing to get onboard to this new program.

It was a month or so ago, it was exposed within some feedpushers drama thread. I believe Jace spilled the beans first, I'll have to find the links.

He actually said it as a personal favor to Edgeprod, who had talked too much shit and needed some substance to back it up. It was a mistake, he admitted that, but you can rest assured this product is on a completely different level than Autoblogger.

I remember one of Edgeprod's first announcements as the fake owner was that he wasn't going to support the old versions of autoblogger.

I would like to give Chio another chance, but some details of his customer support staff would lend a lot to his program's credibility.

what makes you trust epass/paypal with your money?

you can ask that question about any company who do monetary volume with..

VC is going to become standard.

IMO you made this thread with an preconceived agenda of slander.

I think you have the wrong company in mind. Chio owns Autoblogger Pro, not Feed Pushers. Chio does own Feedspinner, which is a different product.

Besides being an idiot... Who are you??? I started this thread for the exact reason I stated and if you had actually read the thing you'd have noticed that I don't trust ePass and don't do anything with them... There's way too many fucking morons on this board. Perhaps you should shut the fuck up before you say something even more idiotic and it reflects badly on Chio's company... Just crawl back to wherever you came from and let us business people talk...

Have you ever bothered to look at a CCbill check in the past decade or so?

Yes I also agree and think BOFA suck drippy tranny dick, and many assorted branches shitcan adult webmasters while others are perfectly fine with them all the time.

I have not spoken to chio in a few days and not sure what is lined up in the UK end (he may have mentioned it).

Though if given a choice behind a FDIC insured bank and some offshore company with a suck it and like it attitude, I know where I would place my risk at. Please notice I did say risk, it all is a risk to some degree. Many feel you should ATM your money out of epass the second it comes in. Others do not use epass at all, then some keep money in their. I am the latter of those, I guess cause I do not have an ATM and I just use it to pay people for work. If it builds up beyond a set point that I deam is my personal risk level I trade it over for some paypal and pull it out.

This coming from someone who has lost money from ibill, adultcheck, westside billing, globill, and a few others that are escaping my mind right now.

Yea Bank of Ameria has to be the worst choice ever for use of anything in the adult industry. I like Chio so I hope it works out for him. However haven't we seen more than enough stories about BOA and them closing webmasters accounts because they work in adult?

BOA is for banks what GoDaddy is for domains. They are big but don't fucking use them.

Since most of the questions were answered in my previous replies in the other thread as well as by people in this thread I'll address the support issue.

We are still in beta but at launch our plan for support is simple.

Will will have an 800 number in the US as well as free phone numbers in Europe for customers, and clients to reach us in the event of any concerns or problems. Additionally we have a full ticket support system where all tickets are answered within 24 hours and at launch we expect to bring the times down considerably.

The plan for launch in regards to support is as wait time increase on the 800#to more than an average of 5 minutes we will add additional support staff.

Also I'd like to mention... I've said it before but it bears repeating we will NOT accept gambling sites for any reason.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words.

I have never had a problem using Bank of America for adult, either with online businesses or physical stores. The vast majority of adult bookstores I ran used Bank of America openly with zero problems. If they dumped Epass it was strictly because of online gambling, which they will close your account for in a second if they catch you. I really have to question what was going on for anyone to have had a problem with them accepting adult businesses...

Actually no... The "full disclosure" of who owns, has invested in and runs the company etc. hasn't been made. I suspect you're swamped, but still, complete transparency and full disclosure sooner rather than later would be a very good thing.

Go back 3 years to SilverCash having their accounts closed without notice because they were an adult business. SOLELY because of that. Call Bank Of America and ask them if they will allow any adult businesses to have an account.

They will tell you no to adult and no to the liquor industry

I just spoke to somebody on the 800 customer service number and they told me they allowed both adult and liquor, so I'm not sure where you got this from.

All three adult bookstores and the nightclub I ran in Memphis, Tn used Bank of America openly with no problems. I also have a Bank of America account that I have never had a problem using for adult...

Any word on working with nats for either members or affiliates side yet? Very very interested in that case...

Really? Seems to me that they have been doing so for three years now.

Sorry for the delay in responding we have been extremely busy as you can imagine.

To answer your questions Verifiedcharge/payagent are owned by my company and I have only one other partner in this business (he's a developer/friend that has worked with me nearly 10 years). We are based in Florida and also have operations in the UK and hope to expand to other regions as we grow.

As most of you know this is something I've been working on for a long time and to finally be in beta is very exciting.

I'll take this post to also mention that we should have epass like debit cards (will work internationally too) within a few weeks. This is great news for all that were waiting on this.

As always if anyone has any questions or concerns you can reach me via ICQ (in location) or through the vc support system.

When will we be able to get ATM cards ?.

At the moment I have funds being sent to the verifiedcharge that I cannot access till I get a card as I'm in Australia as your system says it only sends to US bank accounts.

When and where will we be informed of changes ?.

I see no sense in continuing to send my earnings to a system that has no way for me to withdraw my funds and no time frame for change.

It's a pity Epic Cash did not mention this when they suggested it affiliates use VerifiedCharge instead of Epassporte.

I shook his hand once. That should be enough.
