My problem with cancelling the show is that there is a media double standard for the N word, that depends on the race of the person uttering it. That seems hypocritical.

So if I understand this right the dad told the son that if he was going to have a black girlfriend he and the girl would have to go because he wanted to be able to use the N word freely. So he chose the N word over his son.

The son was given the choice of giving up his girlfriend so his dad could say the N word or keeping his girlfriend and giving up his dad who cared more about getting to use the N word than his son
