why do sites "mirror" like this?
Just noticing this happening once in a while, sites putting someone else's site in a frame like the source I grabbed below. (I edited the domain out in the framesrc below)
Why do they do this? Can it hurt the site being grabbed in google serp because of duplicate content? Probably an attempt at snagging some extra SE traffic. I presume google.htm is on their site, what does that have in it?
If you're worried about it then it's possible to use some simple javascript that will recognise the referral from their domain and break out of the frame. I doubt any SE would penalise for dupe content that references the original site in a frame. |

Highly unlikely it will cause problems considering the framed page is offsite.
