what happened to video.google.com?
google tried to compete against youtube by creating video.google.com but failed... so eventually Google bought youtube
what happened to video.google.com? is it still being promoted in any way nowadays?

i know that google bought youtube
but what happened to googles video.google.com  they didnt merge with youtube, the content isn't the same so i wonder if video.google.com gets promoted today in any way anymore, now after google doesnt need to compete against the much more popular youtube.com because they own it
