This is a public freeway, not closed off at any time of day. Stupid fucking stunt. Idiotic thing to do. I hope the cops impound the car and he gets a huge fucking fine.

Some other people mentioned about him possibly incriminating himself with these videos.

Good point, since that same thing happened in Winnipeg not too long ago.

LINK

Our cops are on an anti-street racing kick right now though, with a bunch of nasty new laws that came into effect just a little while ago.

Maybe they don't care about these things as much in the US, but I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't get a knock on his door one of these days.

Well, not that it matters what I think but I do have to say that was pretty stupid. But, I've seen worse. We all like to live on the edge from time to time. Though must of us only like to endanger ourselves in those times, but, to each their own.

But, I do have request if not done already. Please house the camera in the same shit they make the black boxes for airplanes out of because sooner or later grandma isn't gonna notice you coming up from behind her so fast and when she turns right in front of you; you're either gonna over react, turn too hard, lose control and the car will shred to pieces or you won't have time to react and will drive right through her. Either way, that would be an awesome video. So mount that camera next time and protect it so later your friends can roll that beautiful bean footage for us.

I am very curious to hear what you all gonna say about Germany, where autobahns are like 2-3 lanes (opposite to 4-5 lanes I see on this video), there is no speed limit, the autobahns have far more curves than the one on the video and 30% of the cars go 200kmph+ (the rest goes 180 kmph ). When I drive through Germany I go 200-270kmph for 4-5 hours straight excluding time to refuel and this is rather normal there

forgot to add, KMPH is Kilometers per hour

1. There is a huge difference between a 200 KM/h and 219 MPH.

2. There is a huge difference between a highway designed for 70 MPH and one designed for 160 MPH.

3. There is a huge difference between a highway with drivers that expect other vehicles to be going 160 MPH and one that is expecting people to be driving 65-70 MPH.

The biggest difference is that in Germany, on the Autobahn, it is accepted and legal. Here, it's not. Where 65 is the limit and 75 is accepted by the cops, 219 is well beyond that. The room for error is completely zero regardless of the time of day.

If he wants to drive that fast, I suggest he ships his cute little car over to Germany for the purpose of going that fast legally. He's apparently getting a hard-on by breaking the rules not just a little.. but by a lot.

My favorite part of the whole post by Lia was that FTV doesn't drink, doesn't smoke.. doesn't do anything bad.. he works his ass off.... so this is his way of having his fun. LMAO.... It's usually the one's that claim to be the cleanest that have the private lives you have to worry about the most.

Still stupid, still dangerous. He not only took his own life in his hands there, he played with others that were in the car and those that happened to be on that road at the time.

Enjoy jail when you finally get caught. Don't forget to lube up before you try it again in the future. It makes the gay-anal rape easier to take.

Don't forget German drivers don't use the left lane, and they are taught how to drive, unlike here you just show up and go.

I could make a longer list, but that was the easiest. I have to say I haven't found a stretch of autobahn that I could drive that fast for 4 hours without having to slow down for other drivers. I am sure there must be someplace, but it must be far from the border.

over 100 on any road in town is dangerous, regardless of the time of day or the vehicle driven. If he wants to go that fast, take it to a place where it's appropriate and legal and properly controlled. Him thinking he can control the car doesn't negate all the other variables of what can happen on that public road.

Still dangerous, still stupid.

taking into account that speedometer on lambo is awfully skewed, he was going about 310kmph or less, and 200 kmph I wrote
is like an average, make a 1 hour trip through Germany and you will see lots of cars going 250kmph and more this is very small difference,
what do you think is more dangerous 310kmph for a moment or 200kmph for 2 hours straight?

and what is the real difference between your roads and ours? There is none in favor of Germany, German autobahns are more curvy thats for sure, and the road on
the movie looks really good quality and flat, this point is meaningless

This is the only valid point I see in this thread But I haven't seen too many cars in his movie and somehow I don't see any of these cars turning
violently in front of his car. In fact this is normal to drive 200kmph in Germany in heavy traffic

according to the following website, the german roads without speed limit where most people drive really fast (some people in this thread called
200kmph 'shitless scared' which is really funny) are safer than american roads:

http://christianparty.net/germanautobahn.htm

In fact I found the reaction of some of the people in this thread hilarious, something that works well in other country you call dangerous and stupid. Well
in Europe we always laugh at americans and your driving , even your embassy issued a guide which explains
(with such a simple words that I initially thought the guide is for mentally retarded) how to drive on German Autobahn. I cannot find it now, but it contained
hints like 'never go on the left lane', 'watch your rear view mirror for cars approachign very fast', 'keep to the right lane' and so on.

ps. I am surprised he posted this video, I think your police will try to find the driver

the big difference between the autobahn and american roads is the use of the left lanes. anyone can poke along in the left lanes in the u.s.

not so on the autobahn

x² ÷ 20 + x = Overall stopping distance in feet. This is a conservative formula. Taking into account reaction times, coefficient of kinetic friction and road conditions these numbers can go up quite a bit.

Stopping distance from 219mph (352kph) is over 2600 feet not taking into account reaction time.

Stopping distance from 200kph (120mph) is around 890 feet, without reaction time.

From 250kph (155mph) it would be 1350 feet.

A car like the Lambo has brakes that would cut down these distances but you can see the difference in speed has on the overall math.

The average person in their minvan doing 4 things at once is far more dangerous than a talented driver in a Lamborghini.

although nowadays it's hard to find a piece of Autobahn that's empty enough

i do 200-240 km/h quite regularly, but all my 3 accidents i had with my first car when i was 18 and i never did more than 40 km/h in any of them.

it's like with guns where everyone here always claims not owning them but using them kills. Not speeding kills but doing it irresponsibly.

i agree with the tremendous danger due to all of the unknown/unforeseen variables and the reckless endangerment of innocents. however, who among us has not done some bravado stunt in our lives that we were quite proud of at the time but with age and wisdom now see it differently?

nevertheless, it was an amazing accomplishment, now that it is done and there was no diaster.

the question that i have is what is the fuel economy (mpg) and does it use flex fuel?

LOL. I don't think too many Lambo owners care about fuel economy. I'm gonna take a wild guess and say it doesn't take flex fuel.

I think Lambo had about 4 vehicles in the top 10 worst fuel mileage vehicles last year, in the under 8500 lb vehicles category.

I don't know your American measuring units for fuel consumption but my 520ps gallardo can take about 50 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers when driving over 250kmph, of course the 100 Oktane fuel. The most I ever put in the tank was 89 liters and I paid 129Euro (about 1.45E per liter) I still try to beat that result but recently I failed miserably when my car run out of fuel late night in the Alps (really sucks). I made about 35000 kilometers in my 40 Anniversary Murcielago in 1 year (which I don't have anymore because engine has blown at 35000km on the odo), I also made about 37000 kilometers in the Gallardo I have now (also in a year). This is total of about 70000 kilometers in a lamborghini (in 2 years), I believe I am one of the most frequent lamborghini drivers in the world with a big experience. I drive my lambos only on autobahns and I believe 80% of my total time driving time was with the speeds excessing 200kmph, if you calculate that the average fuel consumption during this time was 30 liters (which I really believe is more) it means that I burned 21 thousands liters of fuel

I'm in Canada so I am supposed to use metric as well, but when it comes to fuel economy the only thing I can make sense of is MPG.

From what I recall, the organizations that tested them stated the most thirsty model got around 9 MPG city and 14 MPG highway, (varied a little depending on the model.)

35,000 km in a year is quite a feat in a Lambo! You must have been living in the thing!

And yet that's cool but an suv promotes global warming. It's amazing how people suckup when the car is expensive.

I checked this MPG,

50 liters per 100kilometers is almost 5MPG
30 liters is 8MPG

organizations that tested something have no idea about the things

Oh no, I don't live in the car, a small trip in Gemany is 1000km one way from Vienna. Even though the speeds are high, the time needed to go from point A to B is not that short, because I need to refuel every 200 kilometers. I am sure a quick diesel car would go faster from point A to B because they refuel like every 600 kilometers minimum.

Wondered why this thread hit 5 pages.

Amazing the amount of conservatives on this board, and in this business. For those that are worried what might happen, you're the reason the U.S. is becoming such a shitty socialist country.

We're in a business of pushing limits. "Unsafe" sex is sold by just about every single affiliate in the world, and don't hear any uproar on that eh? Exploiting ourselves and others, then showing off trying to get others enticed into selling products is the cornerstone of what makes this business work.

You just need to admit that you are jealous of people able to have lifestyle. Nothing wrong with that, it's part of human nature. It's why celebrities are idolized, then attacked when they do something out of the norm.

Who said it was cool? Just stating the facts, and I thought it was funny that someone was asking about fuel economy and flex fuel when talking about exotic sports cars. It's like looking at an F1 car and wondering if it has a good stereo system in it.

Also, the difference between Lambos and SUVs is that they make less than 2000 per year of them, but they make hundreds of thousands, if not millions of SUVs per year. Obviously that is going to have a bigger impact on the environment.

Ya, I think the places that test them usually stick to the speed limit, so they aren't going to be accurate if you are hammering on it all the time.

Here's the site I found it on:
