Netcape 9 comes with Gator installed.
Had a surfer email us saying he couldn't get to one of our sites. He said he was using Netscape 9. I did some testing and found out that Netscape 9 comes with Gator installed. Gator is one of the adware programs we redirect to a adware/spyware removal page. Netscape users are less than 1% of our traffic so I'm not worried about it.
I'm surprised that a browser that used to be the big boy on the web is now including Gator without alerting surfers before they download it. I guess when they are such a small % compared to IE and Firefox they will resort to this to make money. .. damn, I hate that you can't edit thread titles. I always see a typo right after I click submit.
