I also had two other friends die in freak accidents.

They are always with me, kinda strange. I Think about those guys all the time when life gets tuff.

I don't care if you aren't decent people, you can at least pretend-- or shut up-- when someone is mourning. Have some respect for the dead, even if just for a little while.

Years ago, I tried to take my own life. I was 17, and like so many 17 year olds, my life was maturing faster than I was. An old friend of mine did the same 8 months ago, 10 minutes after I got that call my daughter called to tell me she was pregnant. The flip of emotional extremes was very tough to deal with.

Cheshire, I'm really sorry to hear that sweetie.

My friend who was in the Air Force in Biloxi Ms, killed himself. He had a wife and a small child and was very distraught. We didn't see it coming. I still think of the night he was missing, and then we got the phone call. I freaked completely out. I left the Navy after that. I couldn't stop thinking about it. I still have his picture when we were all together laughing. I didn't know he was that upset. He was an angel in disguise. I still think about that and it was over 4 years ago. I think about him everyday. His beautiful face, his dark sense of humor. His funeral was the worst time for me. We took his body back home to Tennessee from Mississippi. I remember everything, the gun salute, the silence of the graveyard. He's at peace now, but I he lives on inside me.
