Can Anyone BEAT Kimbo? I say NO FUCKING WAY!

There is no one out there in boxing or anywhere organized fighting wise that can beat Kimbo.

Period.

Guy is an animal.

If he's ever beaten I would be amazed.

Ya, lets set him up against another useless hasbeen. I think there's probably at least a dozen heavyweight mma fighters who could roll kimbo. He's got to keep at it though, and start fighting some bigger opponents. He's wasting himself away if he take sa fight with ken shamrock...

Congratulations Kimbo,
You just beat a 9-13 forty two year old Tank Abbott who is 1-7 in his last eight fights, and has won exacatly 1 fight in the last 10 years. My hat's off to you.
Kimbo is exciting, but I wouldn't go as far as saying there's no one who can beat him. He has 2 fights on his record, and hardly against anyone who can be considered an "A Level" fighter. Hell, against anyone "B Level" for that matter.

how old is Kimbo? black people are hard to tell age - somebody could tell me Kimbo was 27 or 47 and i'd believe them both.

look at Greg Oden - he's 19 - and he could pass for 40.

why aren't they putting Kimbo against the best in MMA? how many fights does he need before he's ready to fight a top 10 guy?

im pretty ignorant on mma and all, the guy just looks so damn violent when he gets in the ring. that can also be a defect too.

a couple more i'd say. throwing him in with an actual mma heavyweight in the world's top ten would probably be like throwing fresh meat to a pack of wolves. what they need to start doing is matching him up against some talent though so we can gauge better how well he'd fair against a real talented heavyweight.

Because he would get his ass kicked. EliteXC needs all the hype it can get, and letting Kimbo work his way through some cans will get a lot of people watching and will make them more money.

The other benefit of that is he is going to be training all the time and improving his game, so eventually he will be able to go up against some better fighters.

Obviously you missed the Lesnar-Mir fight ... the same kind of thing would happen to Kimbo but probably a lot quicker. Until he has some real ground game he's going to be vulnerable against even mid-level MMA guys. Unlike Tank, they can take a punch and defend themselves, then it's just a matter of getting him on the ground and good night.

Lesnar has got some skills, but he needs a lot of work in certain areas too. What I saw from Lesnar against Mir was impressive even though it was a loss. Mir just came through with his cage experience and got lucky that Lesnar stepped into an obvious setup for a kneebar like a stupid fucking noob. Lesnar will get better, at this point I think Lesnar would take Kimbo........

He will get worked against the first real fighter in his prime he goes up against. The last guy was a joke, Tank Abbott is completely shot and lost 7 of his last 10 fights against nobodies.

Kimbo is a good athlete and depending on his age can get a lot better, but right now it's all a circus act for the rubes.

Pretty much any experienced UFC guy would take Kimbo down pretty easy I think. Yeah he is a good fighter but I don't think he is in the same leage as some of those guys.

other than sylvia i'd have to agree with you. while amazingly enough sylvia (and i fucking hate tim sylvia), has been showing that he can be a little bit more aggresive a fight in his last two fights, i still don't think he's make it far with kimbo. kimbo has got fast powerful hands, and can take a hell of a punch too. i'm pretty sure kimbo would get in close and lose tim in a fury of punches coming with deadly intent. i really don't consider tim sylvia to be that incredible a fighter.

Trust me they have a vested interest in building Kimbo up as undefeated with quick KO's. They are using Kimbo to build that series. They aren't going to use up all that free promotion and name power that Kimbo has by putting him in a fight he's gonna lose.

Nothing against Kimo as he's in good shape and has been working hard, but he's yet to be really tested.

Kimbo has shown a whole lot of nothing so far. His there for the show which makes organizers money, but he's useless as a fighter. First fight was won because his opponent was paid to tap out asap, second fight was won cause he got a guy who's been out for a while and Kimbo beat him at the back of the head to gain up on him. He's not worth shit.

They should feed Kimbo to Antonio "Pezao" Silva. Granted last night his fight with Riccio wasn't as good as his normal fights, he had a torn MCL.

Anyone can be beaten.

Put him up against Philo Beddeo and see how that works out. That guy can take on a whole biker gang by himself.

Tim sylvie would own Kimbo ...so would any B level UFC Heavyweight. Hes a great draw and all but does not have many skills at this point. Ill even go as far to say Big Tim would beat Kimbo in a stand up fight. I love Kimbo and all but you guys dont know shit when it comes to fighting game if you think he could fight any of the top 30 MMA heavyweights. What a joke.

I was at the fight last night- good time! Elite XC and Kimbo's management (Icey Mike from what I understand) are being very smart at building up his publicity and his popularity fighting some progressively tougher tomato cans on Showtime while he trains, learns more skills and gets ring experience. He isn't ready for a top twenty experienced heavyweight fighter yet who can actually take him down, but if he keeps training with Bas Rutten and takes his cardio and jui jitsu and wrestling seriously he has a good chance to beat some real fighters soon. They said it on Showtime last night- Kimbo puts asses in seats. Hopefully he can keep training and maybe in his next fight he can take on someone more in their prime who is a game fighter that will really test him.
