Too Much Media / NATS Final Special Offer before NATS v4!

Hey everyone. NATS v4 is very very close to making its first beta appearances. This is a redesign for the affiliate. NATS programs will be giving affiliates more information and power than ever before and we are fully certain that everyone who uses it will be blown away by it.

To celebrate we are offering our final special offer on NATS before we release v4 and go through the process of upgrading everyone to it. It will be a somewhat lengthy process and we will not be running any specials during or most likely soon after it.

Anyone who leases NATS or owns and has a current support contract will receive a free upgrade to v4. If you want NATS for your program, now is the time to get it.

We are offering $1000 off our initial fees. This will allow you to get started with NATS for only $650. ($500 startup cost + $150 first month's lease). All leases start at the $150/mo level.

The first month which is paid up front starts 30 days after install. So this initial $650 will cover you for 2 months from your day of install. Installation is typically 2-3 days after we receive payment.

You will still receive full training on the product via telephone as all customers do and full support, but you will pay only $650 to start.

Again, this is the last time we will be running a special until probably well after v4 is rolled out.

This special offer is good until March 15th, 2008.

NATS is the industry's leading and most feature rich affiliate backend. If you would like to see NATS in detail we would be happy to provide you with a guided phone demo Mon-Fri between 10am and 6pm.

To take advantage of this offer please contact me at ICQ 5596373, AIM JohnA1078, albright[]toomuchmedia.com, or 732-385-1536 x111.

Thanks!

P.S. If you are interested in purchasing as opposed to leasing or interested in CARMA please contact me and we can discuss a special offer.

Hi John, great offers! Lemme know if I'm right: with $650 I'll got:
- free training
- setup
- first month for base license
Right?

Right?
Yep, you are correct.

Normally costs are:

$1000 training & support package for lease (required)
$500 installation (required)
$150 first months lease (entry level NATS lease)

For a total of $1650. You will get everything for $1000 off for a total of $650.

Your next lease payment ($150 if you are still under 300 joins/mo) won't be invoiced until 60 days after install as you get 30 days for setup and you are paying your first 30 days after that up front.

edit: I should clarify "setup" means setup assistance, not the actual configuration of the software.

There isn't a list put together yet but there will be within the next few weeks.

We have just begun to do a bit of private live testing of it on TeenDolls. This is not available publicly it is only setup for us so that we can start getting the kinks out before we even put anyone into beta. Consider it an alpha

I will be posting some screen shots from it over the next few days.

Main Stats Page:

Affiliates will now be able to see much more details on their traffic. In addition to the normal campaign tracking you will be able to see what countries your traffic is coming from and what ad tool (hosted gallery, banner, etc.) sent the sale This is great for comparing different banners, hosted galleries, etc. to see what functions best.

You can limit and break down these different data sets any way you like so that you can for instance see which galleries convert best for which countries when sent from a specific TGP/campaign.

As an affiliate you will also have access to see how many join page hits there were (surfers sent into a cascade and to the processors) as well as see how many times surfers submitted the biller join forms. Again, this is all available to be limited & viewed by country, ad, campaign, etc. for optimization by you, the affiliate.

You will also now be able to see full gallery stats. Meaning you can see how many clicks were sent to the hosted gallery, how many clicks then went to the paysite, how many hit the join form, how many submitted it, and how many joined. This is of course not just for hosted galleries, but all stats.

Affiliates will be given much more details on the signups they generate. They can see details of the signups, transactions for the signups, status of the signups (trial, active, canceled), country of the member, IP of the signups (if the program choses to show it), etc. We want to deliver as much data as we can to the affiliates in order for them to be able to totally optimize their traffic.

This is just scratching the surface of the data that will now be available to affiliates. It really is a lot and we are allowing things to be cross referenced, broken down, and limited so much that the ways you can view the data are nearly never ending. We are working very hard to make it all intuitive and user-friendly so that you can get what you need from the stats without feeling intimated.

I will be posting more screenshots of these and other features over the next week or two.

Thank you

If you can tell me a benefit of pixel tracking that would be something over what we have/do now then I would look into it. As far as I am aware tho that is just a very out dated way of doing things. I could of course be missing something so please feel free to contact me to discuss it.

Campaign management, part of My Account:

Campaign functionality is being built out a lot also. Campaigns will now have their short name and an editable full text description field. You will be able to merge different campaigns and the "Hide" you see there will be delete. When you delete a campaign it will be merged into default. This will allow you to keep your campaigns more organized and get rid of old campaigns you no longer use. Of course features such as auto create campaigns will remain.

This is just one small part of the new My Account section. Here you will be able to fully control your affiliate account. You can edit your details, view a full payment history, set your defaults and preferences for use throughout the system, see a change history to your account (great for security purposes), see your notifications and messages, and much more.

If you allow affiliates to add a pixel to the confirmation page they can track google, yahoo and other traffic purchases alot easier.
I would suggest limiting the pixel to approved 3rd party systems

Ahh, I see what you mean. I thought you meant using a pixel to track the sale rather than cookie/IP/querystring/etc. as some mainstream products still do. I will hit you up on ICQ about this.

I know this is probably considered old news by many people here, and I know I am violating a bro rule, but since you haven't been around lately and I haven't seen any updates I have to ask....

Did you guys get to the bottom of who was using your admin user / pass and logging into NATS' client's servers and accessing their sensative information? I remember the " its on going we can't talk about it" etc.. etc.. posts a couple months ago. So is it still "on going" or is it just " forget and move on" time.

I was really hoping to hear you caught someone or followed the money trail and found out what companies were benefiting from the stolen info.

Lets just say that 100s of people want to know, should they all contact you individually, why not make an update about what is going on ?

Am I a bad guy for asking for an update ?

i know i know i am an asshole for asking. Am I more of an asshole for asking in this thread or would I have been less of an asshole by making a new thread?

I have conceded to the fact that most people think I am an asshole. fine.

I just don't get the " contact me directly" comment. It would make sense if I was the only person who was affected. Then " contact me directly" would be an appropriate response. If it was just between 2 people then there would be no need to make an announcement to the whole board. But this situation is something that affected a LOT of people, both program owners and affiliates who use NATS. I am signed up to several programs that use NATS. John said they were going after who was behind this, they were working with the authorities etc.. but since minuseonbit is gone we hear nothing about this. No updates. nothing. Is it wrong for me to ask for an update ?

I think the proper thing to do would have been to either a) contact him directly, or b) start a new thread on this.

But now you're simply going to start a thread hijack. Let the man discuss his new product with his clients and make his announcement in peace.

Fight the war in another thread

The issue was fixed when it happened. That has been said many times. If there were any updates regarding it then something would have been put out about it.

I'm not here to turn this into a discussion about that. As far as will76, he's just looking to stir up more bullshit to further promote himself. He's on my ignore list and I'm done wasting time with him.

John, I asked for an update if you caught the people who stole your admin accounts and accessed lots of NATS servers getting confidential information, including my own, and because I asked a simple question you say I am " here trying to stir shit to promote myself"?

WTF am i selling? I am selling my self for what and how much, who wants to buy me?

It's an honest question sir. what you are doing is trying to spin it. Why put me on ignore, and why not answer the question.

BTW, you say if anyone wants to know to contact you, but you just said I was on ignore?

John you have issues man, I asked a simple question, no need to make up lies about me or try to make this into something bigger than what it needs to be. If you don't have any new news to offer about catching the person who was behind this than just say so..... i don't know what your problem is.

I'd like to learn what happened to the security issue as well... Has the thief been caught? Did you contact the police? FBI?

You never gave any info about this anywhere so that makes people rightly or wrongly assume some kind of shady stuff going on in the background.

If it's not already possible, will affiliates be able to receive a postback on successful joins?

This is similar to what was referred to above as with the pixel. There is a good chance we'll incorporate it one way or the other. The postback isn't a bad idea but info would need to be limited and it may need to be a feature enabled or disabled by program owners. Thanks for giving the feedback!

Also, passthrough variables would be killer.

The short answer is no, unfortunately no one has been caught. Obviously if someone had it would have been announced. I am not here to turn it into a discussion however. If you have questions about it you're more than welcome to contact me. I am very easy to get in touch with.

Great special deal, anyone thinking of an affilate software to get this is the time no doubt.

Yes, some variables would be great but some can also be very risky to send thru.

Uncool to raise the question, but i knew it'd popup :P

People who expect anyone to get cought on this are living in movie land. Those that did that are way beyond anyone here can fathom in general security knowledge. They do that shit for living. Only way they'd get cought if someone got goverment agencies involved (and even then, if), and that aint happening anyway. Stop asking stupid questions. Was it fixed or not, that's the real question.

Uncool to ask for an update?

Well NATS provides secure software for a living. SO you are saying that the people who pulled this off is smarter than NATS and beyond being caught ??? It's not like they hacked some free site or something. I thought John said he was getting the authorities involved...

An alphanumeric string would be fine.

Normally I wouldn't give a shit about this drama, but I had to change a ton of passwords to ones I could never remember in a thousand years, plus this had XBIZ exposure and yet, no real resolutions... makes me cringe to be honest. To think if I was a program owner paying $150 a month for that peace of mind not to mention all the other set up fees, I'd be fucking pissed, so what is the deal? It's a valid point, and placing will76 on ignore only makes me want to think something is up. Get your PR guy in here and let's start spinning this thing please...

Again, if you have questions about it, contact me and I'm more than willing to answer anything you'd like. I'm done discussing shit like that on this board. Half of the people here aren't even in this biz and half of the other half are just fake names here to stir shit. If you have questions, contact me and I'm glad to talk to you about it. I'm not discussing things like that on here anymore. It is a waste of time & energy.

John which 1/2 do I fall in, the 1/2 that isn't in the biz or the 1/2 uses fake nicks????/

If 100% of the people here are fake nicks or not in the biz at all why are you spamming your Nats stuff here ???

You keep making posts that you don't want to discuss this here.... but you have no problem discussing " Final Special Offers from Nats". No one is asking you to "discuss" anything. You haven't posted on this board much at all for over 2 months, you pop back up after all the drama not to give us an update but to try to sell more licenses. No one was trying to debate with you what has happened in the past, we were just asking if there had been any updates. Giving an update is not asking for a discussion, its simply asking for an update. And why you keep saying contact you directly to ask you these questions... that makes no sense, why not address all the questions here first. After what happened you think your first post back on here after a while would be to let everyone know how you working with the authorities or lawyers or whatever you were saying, is going, not to make an announcement about a special offer.

I know I know, just contact you and you will answer my questions.

I'd like to be able to pass some info back. The site they joined, option they used, campaign it was on, country, maybe the member's IP address and possibly their username. Maybe even allow some other details to be passed back. Just don't want to open any issues and I think thats something the affiliate program owner should have a lot of control over if we implement it.

Demographics Report sample: (long image)

Each continent is clickable to a map of that continent showing the details for each country. These reports will allow you to get a quick visual representation of stats (hits, joins, ratio, etc.) overall or for a certain site, campaign, etc.

The report is shown sorted by country name however the production report will allow you, the affiliate, to sort it by any column shown.

Please also note that there is a good chance the "qualified hits" concept is being removed completely from NATS v4.
